Just needed somewhere to stay for a good price as my car needed to go into the garage the next day and met a friend in town when I arrived. So I didn't spend much downtime there but had a great stay in a warm room and would recommend this place staff were helpful and parking easy.

a budget hotel which is just right for a nights sleep. Mcdonald’s and TGIF is next door if you need a quick bite. i was taking a cruise ship the next day and its about a 30 min walk there. not too bad. i would stay here again especially for the price.

My family and I just got off Queen Mary 2 at Cunard Cruise Terminal. After walking some 20 minutes and reaching "ibis budget Southampton Centre", around 10:00 a.m., we didn't expect quick check-in at that early hour, which has almost been unheard-of at various hotels we have stayed at over the past 2 years. ibis budget Southampton Centre's decision to allow us check in early also made business sense, which means that the hotel doesn't have to keep luggage for its guests arriving earlier than the standard check-in time. That hotel policy alone of allowing guests to check in sooner rather than later is the single most important factor for my 5-star rating this wonderful hotel, which is very close to the old town, the train station and a large shopping mall. What more could you expect? If my family and I ever visit Southampton again, "ibis budget Southampton Centre" will be our one and only choice for stay, not just for its affordable price but, more importantly, for its humane check-in policy. Well done, ibis budget Southampton Centre. Keep up your good work. And more guests will register with you.

Upon arriving, the property looked OK under repair work on the outside inside lobby was OK when you got on the elevator to go to floor number four you had to push push push push and push in order to get four to light up arrival at the room, the shower in the bathroom sink is right next to your bed. The room is so small. The toilet is in a closet Breakfast not even close to being Continental terrible and they charge $12 for it thank God McDonald’s is right behind the hotel. This is a downright frightful property. If you just want a place to stuff your luggage and lay your head. OK this would be the place. I have standards And these are well well below my standards.

Great but woken up by workmen outside the window.
Chose as was close to the station. Easy checkin . Room is compact but for the price was fine. The one negative is they have scaffolding up and at 8am the workmen started banging right next to the window waking us up. I don’t know if it’s possible to get them to wait until 10am or give a room without scaffolding.
