Großartiges Haus - sehr empfehlenswert
Publié le 26 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub in diesem wunderbaren Haus. Es ist mit Herz eingerichtet, sehr groß und sehr sauber. Nichts hat gefehlt. Der Garten war perfekt für Frühstück und um die abendliche Stimmung zu genießen. Zum Pub war es fussläufig 20min. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich.
Von dort aus konnten wir viele tolle Ausflüge starten:
Wir besuchten z.b. die Kathedrale von Winchester. Der Ausflug zur Jurassic coast sollte mit Kindern nicht fehlen.
Für die Frauen war der Trip nach Downton Abbey ebenso ein Highlight ( Eintritts Karten lange vorher buchen )
Der nächtliche Ausflug bei Vollmond im New Forest (Nähe Beaulieu ) bleibt unvergessen… ebenso der abendliche Ausflug zum Stonehenge Denkmal (wir besuchten ihn von der Rückseite - es gibt einen kostenfreien weg über ein Feld entlang des Steinkreises hinter dem Zaun.
Wir waren mit 2 Autos dort ( 2x VW Passat ) … parken war mit viel Navigation noch möglich.

It was roomy and scrupulously clean, and communications with the lovely host were retuned very promptly. We don’t have small children anymore but would have appreciated how well-equipped it was for babies and toddlers if we had them- down to the security covers on electrical sockets. Just excellent!

Lovely property
Publié le 1 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayGreta property full of character and all necessities including dishwasher, microwave etc, also BBQ. Nice little garden with furniture too.
Little too far to walk to closest shops, restaurant and pub / bar, but all within reach within 5 minutes by car.
Overall, lovely property, great hosts, really helpful. Both families that stayed at the property had a fantastic stay.

Lovely cottage in great location
