The apartment was spotless, with everything we needed and many extras. The owners were accessible insuring that are stay was perfect.
Our time there was too short, only three days, but we will will return to this special place.

Cute But Deceiving
Publié le 14 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayAdvertised that the beach and dock were “near” but the beach was at least a 10-15 minute walk all up hill. It was very lovely once we got there. We could not find the small grassy pathway between the hedges that led to the dock due to high grass so we ended up having to ask someone. Kayaks were lying all over the pathway and very old and dirty. There were only 4 bottles of water for 4 people for 5 days, which would have been ok if the water and ice maker in the refrigerator had been working to at least get ice. The ants everywhere throughout the house were a bit of an issue although we understand they were there due to the rain.

As super hosts we are committed to providing a wonderful vacation experience for our guests.We were therefore devastated when we read your review and are very sorry that your experience did not live up to your expectations.West Whale Bay Beach is a truly beautiful and tranquil beach that takes us about 6 minutes walking time but is listed on site as approximately 9 minutes.We consider that as near our vacation rental.To reach the beach from our location is actually 80% a down hill walk.The return walk however has a slight incline.
The entrance to the dock is purposely hidden so others will not find it and trespass.You were contacted by email after your first nights stay to see if you had any difficulties.This would have been your opportunity to state you needed help finding the concealed entrance to the dock,and also that you were interested in using some of the four kayaks,so that we could have cleaned the leaf debris caused by the recent stormy and windy weather.Unfortunately you never replied to our email.
Listed on-site you will find that we supply essentials such as shampoo,soap,bath towels,linens,paper towel,toilet paper etc.
We do NOT supply food or drink.However to make your first day more enjoyable we give you a complimentary bottle of water as well as coffee,tea,ice cubes etc.
We are working on controlling the ants.

Amazing stay
Publié le 4 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had an absolutely fantastic stay at Roselyn’s place! The home was even better than the pictures—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, close to the whale bay and everything we needed was just a short walk/drive away.

Quiet and peaceful

Great friendly hosts who went all out to make sure that we have everything we need.

Lovely home and a perfect location!

The home is located close to the main road, near bus stops, near the railway trail for exercising, and a short walk from West Whale Bay, the nicest beach in Bermuda. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the owners were very helpful. Plenty of room, and a lovely patio with comfortable lounge chairs. I definitely recommend!

Location was perfect for our family of 6
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved staying in Rosalyn and Marshall's home. They were welcoming and answered all our questions, both before we arrived and during our visit. Their home was tidy and the linens were crisp and white. We enjoyed having our morning coffee in the outdoor eating area that overlooked the harbor. Whale Bay Beach is AMAZING! It felt like we had our own private beach because there were rarely any other swimmers, maybe 4 at most. We swam and snorkeled in the crystal blue waters during the day and enjoyed sunsets in the evening. The bus stop was convenient and we used it to travel to the Maximart, Hamilton, Dockyard, Horseshoe Bay and to Art Mel's (where we had the BEST fish sandwich of our lives). Wadson's Produce Farm is a short walk away. We loved their fish chowder and sour dough bread.
Thank you to Rosalyn and Marshall for sharing your beautiful property with our family. Our vacation was truly magical and we can 't wait to go back.

Great Experience

The Whale Bay beach across the main road was stunning and private. The convenient bus stops made getting around easy. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice local experience

They were always available for questions and gave great tips on things to do. Highlight was the beautiful local Whale Bay beach and Battery. There is a small view of the water from the downstairs apartment but the view in the listing is from the upstairs balcony so maybe swap for the downstairs view. Thanks for a great stay!
