We had a letter pushed under our door saying that the area had a power cut - I assume that the power cut didn’t hit the main block where the printer had power. The fire alarm went off 2/3 times. I will not be returning.
A comfortable hotel near the airport that is a work in progress. It is dated but there is evidence of improvements going on. Considering the lack of use of the airport due to the pandemic this hotel has lost business but looks as if it is working on getting it back to normal.
The rooms were ok, bed was comfortable and it was clean. However the hallways were damp and musty smelling, there was no hot water on the night of our stay ( although rectified by the next day, we had to chase for updates). The car park was waste ground, and overall a slightly intimidating atmosphere. I guess for the price it was adequate and very handy for the nearby Saxon Hall. I probably wouldn’t stay again.
Did the job. Had a festival at Garon park. Old but clean. Dreadful noise at 2am outside the room 142 both nights, sounded electrical. People not adhering to no smoking left awful smell. Bed old and lumpy. But choice of twin or double. Only breakfast choice continental for £8. Good parking friendly staff. Needs an upgrade!
