Tithe barn - Lovely little hideaway
Publié le 7 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayTithe Barn is a lovely converted farm building. Done to a high standard whilst keeping a very nice 'farmhouse' feel. It is ideal for a couples break or as a base to explore the wider Nottinghamshire country side, with the village of Fiskerton and the river Trent only 5 minutes, and The lovely town of Southwell not much further there is plenty to see and do. Newark is appx 15mins drive. There is also a local pu within a few minutes walk.
Located on a quiet farm, the only thing that we heard was the birds.
Very clean and well kept. The host was very good with communication and although not on site, she is very contactable and responds very quickly to any messages.
A very lovely place to scape to. I am sure we will be back in the future.

warm and well equipped
few problems (shower and wifi) but sure these would have been fixed if we'd stayed longer

Just perfect

Enjoyable stay

Pandemic relief
Publié le 15 avr. 2021 sur HomeAwayOur first break in nearly a year. An ideal pristine barn conversion on a working farm. South facing garden in an orchard and you could here a pin drop. We had sunshine on all four days from dawn to dusk. It was very cosy. Amanda was a great help when we had a problem and helped us resolve it quickly. We took short trips out locally and to garden centres.
Generally we just relaxed, it was lovely.
