Views of the harbor were limited by waterfront homes. The cottage could use some updates, including better lighting, the furniture was not comfortable, and minimal supplies were provided. In general, the site was rough, overpriced and had a musty smell.

Publié le 25 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis cozy little cottage had the perfect location with a gorgeous view of my favorite garden in SWH and the harbor beyond. It is a very short walk to restaurants and shops. We loved having fires in the woodstove. The kitchen was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. We definitely want to stay again!

celebrating end of Summer
Publié le 4 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy adult son and I spent a week at this location. We enjoyed the close proximity to the town and the ability to walk in town for coffee or dinner. The home itself was very clean and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We wished the living room furniture was more comfortable. Hosts were great!

Last minute get away

Quiet street location; easy to walk to both dining and shopping. Also easy to drive to other areas of interest. Hosts had lots of books and other literature about the area available to read; they were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this cottage.

Nice Cottage in Great Location

There were no issues with the checkin/checkout process, and the description and pictures of the cottage were accurate. The cottage is within walking distance to downtown Southwest Harbor, and less than a half hour to the loop and Bar Harbor. The cottage was the perfect size for our family of four, and the owners did a nice job highlighting some places to eat/visit in the welcome book. I would not hesitate to stay there again!
