Charming hotel
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HotelsWe were only there for one night while attending a wedding nearby so in fairness our time at the hotel was limited. The young lady who greeted us was very friendly and helped us find a place to park a little way down the road. We had booked two rooms and our adult childrens’ room was very quaint and lovely. I was a little disappointed with our own room. It was very clean and quiet however the room was quite basic and the decor a little tired. We had a very small cloakroom toilet and sink and a separate shower cubicle which was in the actual room itself. Whilst we are a married couple and the shower cubicle had some frosted glass I would have preferred a little more privacy whilst showering as this meant getting undressed and dressed in the bedroom before getting in the shower cubicle and having to step out of the cubicle into the room to get the towel. Had this been the only room we had seen I would have been very disappointed with our stay and the price paid but the rest of the hotel and our other room was charming so I think we possibly drew the short straw on the room this time. In summary, a nice hotel but your experience overall might depend on the room you get.

Nice location, cosy rooms
