Une maison sur une plage idyllique des Bahamas

Cette photo du 'boardwalk' de AmberJack House ne donne qu'une petite idée de la beauté du site. Imaginez une immense plage de sable fin blanc et rose qui s'étend d'est en ouest. Tout droit devant vous, la mer transparente passe dans toutes les nuances de bleu avec une tendance principale au turquoise. Imaginez vous pratiquement seul sur cette plage (même durant la période des vacances de Pâques). Vous sortez vos kayaks (il y en a deux) ou votre planche pour aller à la recherche des dollars de sable ou des conchs.
AmberJack House est parfaite. Nous avons rarement trouvé dans une location une propriété aussi bien équipée (quantitativement et qualitativement). Le propriétaire, Ryan McAffy est facile et rapide à contacter.
Nous revenons rarement deux fois au mêmes endroits (il y a tant de merveilles à visiter de par le vaste monde) mais franchement nous (nous étions 6, 4 adultes et 2 enfants de 4 et 8 ans) aimerions revenir un jour sur Spanish-Wells et à AmberJack House

Publié le 10 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayEverything was PERFECT! The tide stayed pretty low, so were able to sit in the water & soak up the sun...
One sweet lady that lived on the island set up her floating "lily pad" for us once the tide came in.
Renting a golf cart is the way to go...
Most of the people that live on the island were nice.
Lastly, we got to meet Budda and take a picture with him!

Amazing view and access to the water

The house was centrally located on Spanish Wells and easy to get to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We enjoyed the kayaks amd SUP, and dining on the deck. Cant wait to come back!

Publié le 6 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was exactly as advertised. Well stocked kitchen, beds were comfy, view was excellent. Property manager responsive to WiFi glitch. Greatly enjoyed by 5 older ladies who spent a lot of time on the porch, the gazebo & walking the beach during the day & playing games at night.

Host provided so much, including good advice on who ro contact for various activities of interest. This was more house that the 2 of us needed, but would rent it again for the location.

This was our third trip to Spanish Wells and our first time renting the Amberjack House. Hands down the best decision we have ever made.
Gorgeous house and spectacular location on the beach made this vacation the best one yet.
From the covered palapa to sit under when you need a break from the sun to the huge sandbar literally feet away from the shore at low tide, I’m pretty sure my vocabulary was reduced to “OMG, look at that water”. I know I had to have said it at least 100 times.. a day.
Rented a golf cart from Harbor Side rentals and arranged transportation with Pinder’s.
The owners were fantastic to work with. Already planning our next visit!
