Quiet, private retreat
Publié le 8 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayAmazing, secluded cabin that provided the perfect getaway for my wife and I. Ideally situated near the river and just the right size for two! Clean and well-maintained. Comfortable chairs and bed. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to go. We’ll be back for sure!

Beautiful River View
Publié le 2 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was exactly what I expected for a tiny house, clean and neat. The river view was wonderful. Our only problem as Seniors was the walk down to the river and back was rather difficult for seniors. It would have been nice to know that the entrance road was narrow and steep. We did enjoy our stay and the peaceful atmosphere even the visit from the neighborhood roosters when we first arrived.

A cabin in the woods
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayLocation was a short drive from town of Sparta. The cabin was essentially one room with a nice bathroom. Smaller than we expected. Access to the river could be better. The path was a bit overgrown. The gazebo between the cabin and the river was very nice and a good place to sit and listen to the river.

Second Visit
Publié le 13 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here previously and enjoyed it so much that when we needed somewhere to stay in the area again, we were delighted to see it was available. As charming as we remembered, the host provided everything we needed and more. There are plenty of local restaurants and it’s also in close proximity to Stone Mountain (fun hike with great views if you’re up for it!). We spotted lots of wildlife near the cabin (deer, cardinals, rabbits, turkeys, etc.). Highly recommend a stay here if you ever get the chance!

Absolute peace and quiet, with a beautiful view! Close enough to town that you can be at a grocery store in 10 minutes or less, but far enough away from everything so that you have complete peace and quiet. The river is beautiful. The cabin is the perfect size for just two. Has everything you need. We are already looking at booking another trip!
