Long weekend
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe came for a wedding. My family stayed and my kids loved the freedom of the property. They could play outside and they had lots of things for them to lay with. The house was cute and well stocked with essentials that you always forgot (salt and pepper). Plenty of linens and blankets. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Get Away

Porch Wonderful
Publié le 30 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayRemote but not. Very little traffic on road to interrupt the serenity and view while sitting on the porch. Wrap around porch was great. We ate breakfast and dinner on the porch each day. Spent evenings enjoying the sunsets and surrounding scenery. Interior woodwork beautiful. Kitchen great. Well designed layout for two couples on a weekend vacation. Went out for lunch and site seeing each day. Town of Sparta with restaurants a few minutes away. West Jefferson downtown shops and restaurants a short drive. Stone Mountain a short drive. Wineries near Stone Mountain and Elkin a short drive. We will rent again next year.

Great Cabin with Spectacular Sunset

The best part is the view overlooking a tree farm with miles and miles of rolling hills to then have the sun set behind. Would stay here again for sure.

Great Weekend

Its close proximity to great outdoor adventure, golf and downtown Sparta was perfect for a long weekend trip with the family. We all wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be coming back. Check in and host communications are superb.

Everything we needed in tip-top shape

A Haven Away from Home

We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch while listening to wake up sounds of chickens, cows, donkeys and crows.
The cabin was comfortable. Quick access to Sparta. We attended the Mountain Festival Saturday. It was wonderful!! Everyone in Sparta was especially friendly. Wonderful stay!!
