Publié le 17 juill. 2024 sur HotelsUnfortunately the facilities were dirty and lacking in toilet roll and hand soap, they were also left opened to the public which was disappointing considering the price you’re paying to stay there. The property itself was ok but again was lacking and had things missing, the main curtain is also a foot short so light streams into the cabin. It was noisy at night with people driving in late and running their engines. People are able to free camp right outside. The cabin was filled with smoke when we got back due to a fire outside and the second night was very busy so no privacy again disappointing considering. We also had people peering in the door and knocking to ask to use the facilities not ideal and our dog didn’t appreciate that at all. Nice location shame about the set up. Could do with chairs for the table inside and the ability to sit outside would have been nice. Further note don’t waste your money on the coffee it was terrible.

Booked a cabin for four guests for three nights, as expedia said the maximum was four people and LET US book for four people half a year in advance. Fast forward to this week- we got to the cabin late at night after a long day of traveling only for us to discover that we got a cabin with one double bed for our booking for four people. We called both the property manager and expedia, both repeating this should not have been able to happen and that we will get a refund, but not being able to find any solutions whatsoever. The four of us were stranded in the middle of the night in a foreign country with no place to stay. After looking for hours we finally found a place to stay the three nights we would stay at the cabin, which cost us almost a grand and we lost not only a lot of money but also time, as this place was further away from the things we had planned on visiting. The day after I got an email that a refund was declined. So we lost a lot of money and a lot of time of a trip we had planned out so carefully. It really affected our whole vacation. Very, very disappointed.

Hello We are very sorry that this has happened and affected your holiday . We sent a message with Expedia on April 23rd to say that the property was now only for 2 people after we had seen that you had booked for 4 which was the original property occupancy . We sent this message to enquire about the size of your party and assumed it had been sent . The message is still sat pending with Expedia for their security checks . This is why you never received the information . We will be investigating this further with Expedia .

Luckily not as remote as we thought. Very quiet though, lovely area.
Unit was clean, comfortable and warm.

Very clean and cosy. Couple of stools or chairs in the cabin would have made it perfect.

Shower was a bit smelly but it's a cabin in the middle of rural Scotland so not holding that too much against them. Bedroom was very clean, which is the important part.
Great spot, room was pleasent and surrounding area is beautiful. Parking is convenient with a nearby bus stop. Staff was friendly, responses should be expected in about 24 hours.
Would stay again.

Next to the loch, which is beautiful in the mornings. Handy parking and very close to the main road, but it still feels peaceful & remote. There was a minor problem with the stove, but the owner was quick to send out a maintenance person. Facilities are basic but it had everything I needed - if you want room service and a jacuzzi, look elsewhere :-)
