WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE SEA SPRAY VILLA! My wife and I stayed here from May 2 - 12. We chose this property for the terrific balcony, and we were not disappointed. The ocean view is spectacular. You are so close to the water you can literally feel it when a big wave hits the rocks. The villa had everything you need in the kitchen. The AC in the master bedroom is VERY strong. We did not use the 2nd bedroom so I cannot speak to the AC in that room. The bed was very comfortable. And they provided quality linens. The living are furniture was also of good quality and very comfortable. And the wifi was fast and dependable. A nice widescreen tv that we never even turned on. And they have a very large washer and dryer on site.
The villa has a terrific breezeway that keeps the living area very comfortable. We spent hours on the balcony reading, watching and listening to the birds, drinking coffee, having breakfast, lunch and dinner, watching the passing boats, etc.
The owners, Les and Linda were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. They were very responsive with all of our inquiries. And Natalie was very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed the local feel of this location. Like most of Barbados the tourists are mingling with the locals, unlike many other islands where tourism dominates the scene. The Bahans are without a doubt the friendliest people we have met in our travels.
We opted to not rent a car. We used the buses to go to Hunt's Garden, EarthWorks Pottery, Animal Flower Cave, Bridgetown, Holetown, and Speightstown. People are more then willing to help you with directions. You can pickup and get off the buses just a few meters from the villa.
We ate at Merton's on 3 nights, 200 meters from the villa. The greatest seared Tuna we have ever had. Other nights we ate in the villa utilizing the fully equipped kichen.
