Nice quiet spot on the lake
Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy brother and i stayed in this property over the weekend while attending a music festival in nearby Worcester. The property has plenty of space for 8 or more people and two full size baths. It also has a 3 seasons room and patio furniture with a nice view of the lake in the backyard. The owner/host was very nice and responsive. Overall, this was a great property that we would return to. My only criticism is the listing does not make it clear that the owner lives in a connected unit under the same roof that shares a common hallway. She also has what appears to be a flower shop (or at least a workshop where she arranges flowers for deliveries) right next to the property. So it's not nearly as private as the listing might lead you to believe. But again, we enjoyed it overall and the owner didn't bother us at all, so we would likely return if in that area.

Lake House

The house is in a hilly neighborhood which would not be ideal for older adult walkers, but was fine for us. There was an unusually strong "garlicky" smell in the house that could use some scented or odor neutralizing candles. I don't know if it was from cooking, the floral shop or a natural insect repellant. Just worthy of note. A dehumidifier was in one of the bedrooms. Window air conditioners are in each bedroom for comfort. It was very nice not to have to bring bed linens and towels. Thank you for the use of your lake house.

Note: the property itself is very level and ideal for elderly.

Flea Market Family Roadtrip
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved everything with the location, beautiful property and lake access. House was clean and more than spacious for five adults. The only disappointment was both queen beds were to soft and the twin beds were hard as bricks. However, we would absolutely rent again!!

Great location on the lake
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had 5 adults and we loved the lake even though my husband didn't catch any fish. He tried all kinds of bait but they just weren't biting. The twin bed mattresses were perfect and the outdoor furniture was very comfortable. I'm glad that I brought my own pillow and some extra towels. Our favorite area was the backyard. The ducks visit several times a day.

Christine, not sure if you realized there are stacks of clean towels in each vanity! Also each bedroom closet has extra blankets and pillows.

Family visit at the lake
