Excellent getaway lodge
Publié le 30 juin 2024 sur HomeAwaySome of our family decided to camp out at fall creek falls and me and my wife tagged along but she didnt want to sleep in a tent so I found this lodge for us to stay at which was only about 5 miles from the Fall creek falls campsite. The owner provided excellent communication and we really enjoyed our time there. The place was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Fall Creek Falls

The folks up there & linemen from all over have worked their tails off opening up roads and restoring power. We'll be back soon!! Thanks

Family Time
Publié le 20 juill. 2023 sur HomeAway50 years ago my husband brought a friend and me to Fall Creek Falls for a hike. That was our first unofficial date! We wanted to show our daughters and our youngest grandchildren the Falls. This rustic lodge looked like a great place to stay near Fall Creek Falls.
There were a few glitches the first night but to be fair it was not the manager’s fault. She took care of everything immediately. The new refrigerator for our cabin arrived without the ice maker. Julia brought us fresh ice every day. I enjoyed our chats. Julia is a very nice lady and I think you will like her. We enjoyed making friends with her two dogs and cat as well.
To be honest the mattress for the sofa bed was uncomfortable. No one had ever mentioned it to Julia before. We just bought an inexpensive blow up mattress for the boys. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for our stay.
The surrounding scenery is beautiful and the sunsets were spectacular. The area is so peaceful.

Well I just ordered a new mattress from Amazon for the sofa bed which is expected to arrive this weekend so that problem has been solved. The dogs loved having the boys to play with. I hope you can come back again some other time. I called Lowe’s about the ice maker that was back ordered and they are still waiting for the delivery. Thanks, Julia

Crash pad for event

Great space and kitchen, beautiful grounds.
Bring all food in with you, it was difficult to find necessary items nearby, due to lovely, but remote area.

Relaxing stay
