Relaxing getaway

Just for the Night

Being just us 3 girls and my large fluffy dog, it was nice feeling safe when needing a place to sleep. Gated Area! A little sad the pool is an actual indoor/outdoor pool lol it's very cool runs from inside of the building to the out! It just don't open up until Memorial Day because it's not heated. Bummer but plenty of roads to walk and wonder ♡ still feeling safe and out of the woods if you haven't dont your homework. There are lot's of other neighboring dogs we didn't have any interactions with while we walked thankfully. Being out with my daughter and our dog, far from home, I didn't have time to find out who all played nice. I also wished I did have more time to figure it out because it felt very comforting watching them through the windows you could tell they were very happy and healthy pups!

Family get away

Completely equipped kitchen, comfortable and a nice place to get away. Weather was rainy, so enjoyed playing games. Owner was very nice. Recommended getaway.

Friendly,remote. Fall creek falls park close by. Other great state parks half hour away. Clean. Would stay again!

Great cabin

Worst experience EVER
Publié le 3 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe booked this stay because of the advertised hot tub and pool year round: When we arrived the pool was filled with algae, the hot tub was covered with a tarp and area around was absolutely disgusting and unkept. I reached out to the property manager Julie because I felt deceived and she was unapologetic, rude, and had an attitude. She stated the hot tub works, didn’t provide a code to gain access and when we did gain access the hot tub was luke warm. Julie briefly offered a free drink for confusion. I tried to make the best of the stay and thought oh well lesson learned until I was accused of breaking a rocking chair that wasn’t broke and clogging her toilets: the rocking chair squeeked and needed wd40 from the time we got there. She lied and said I broke her chair and charged me a $200 damage fee and I had to report her as fraud because it was entirely untrue. The cabin room itself was nice but every other aspect of the property was disgusting. A lot of people look forward to a hot tub in the fall and I think it’s important to make the area presentable,clean and to make sure the water is warm. Do not stay here. It was over priced for what it was and like I said, Julie the owner was rude, then tried to be nice, then back tracked and took things too far by falsely charging me for something I didn’t do. I left the place spotless and will never stay here again.

I am the owner not the property manager. The pool is not heated and says in the description that it is seasonal. The temperature had been in the forties at night so the pool was very cold. The hot tub is covered to keep the heat in and dirt out and is set at the recommended temperature of 104 degrees. When my housekeeper went to clean the room after you left it was found that you broke a rocking chair that was not broken when you arrived. It is a wooden rocking chair and you can not put WD forty on wood. You also broke the switch on the electric fireplace and clogged up the toilet with paper. VRBO and the bank on investigation when you tried to cancel your payment found in my favor when they read the notes you had left me. I advise other owners to think hard about renting to you in the future. Julia

Fall Creek Falls Fun!
Publié le 15 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayMy family rented out one room and my Dad rented the room next door. Everything was great! The room was nice and the area was amazing. The pool was awesome. The property manager was the best! I told her I really wanted to watch the UT football game the day before and was running a few minutes behind in getting back to the lodge and she had the game paused for me and waiting at the beginning of the game! We all had a great stay and I would definitely go back!

Perfect stop!
Publié le 8 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here for just one night on the way home from the coast! It was perfect! Everyone was so kind and helpful. The rooms were amazing! Literally softest pillows and towels. And the POOL. It was a backyards walk to (a LARGE backyard with a great view and play sets). It had indoor and outdoor capabilities with full bathrooms and amazing hot tub. This location was two minutes from falls state falls park!! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
