Thank you for your candid feedback and I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. I do my best to be responsive to my guests and apologize that in this particular circumstance I did not connect with you right away - I was at a funeral and missed sending you the information by mistake which is really no excuse because all guests deserve an immediate response. Regarding the AC - we made the calls and arranged the service visit immediately. A part was needed that had to be ordered and the repair was underway in the fastest way possible. All ACs working perfectly now. The lake is lower than we like due to a very long drought. That was and is currently disclosed on our booking portal and in my interactions with guest, YET, I have had landscapers come out to clear the vegetation surrounding the dock so that the lake is still accessible from my property for kayaking and paddle boarding. There is also nearby Muleshoe Park (3 mins drive); Briarcliff Marina offers boats for a relatively inexpensive day trip; and approx 15 mins drive from our property is another fun water related day trip Krause Springs - a spring fed deep pool that also offers natural swimming pools. Other guests love driving to Marble Falls for shopping/dining; visiting many nearby wineries and distilleries; live music at Angles or Willie Nelson-owned Poodies bar where they have live music every night of the week! We also have a sparkling clean, very large hot tub on the property which seats approx 8-12 people that can be run hot or cool with amazing jets - so relaxing to sit in the tub and take in the expansive lake views which have been completely unaffected by the drought due to the fact that our property sits on a very tall hill which overlooks the lake with unobstructed views! We do have nearby neighbors and they are very supportive of our business. We love our neighbors, and we encourage our guests to enjoy our property in a respectful manner. This is definitely not a “throw down party.” Place…it is a place to come “chill” and commune with nature while bonding with friends and family. Our perfect guests appreciate that. Our neighbors love to feel loved by our guests and they help us look after our place when we are not around - keeping it safe and well cared for.
