Welcome to our organic farm, which is still in full operation. Experience real farm life and enjoy the sounds of the meadow bird nature reserve or the tranquility from our private jetty on the water.
You will stay in a luxury apartment in the old hay loft in a typical North Holland farmhouse. The kitchen is fully equipped and is connected to the spacious living room. You sleep on the loft which is accessible by stairs in your apartment.
In the garden in the yard you can enjoy a picnic or enjoy the peace and bird sounds around you. Children can play freely. There is plenty of room!

Our farm is +/- 20 minutes drive from the cities of Amsterdam / Alkmaar / Purmerend and the beach. And 10 minutes drive from several swimming pools (indoor and outdoor pools).
The world famous Zaanse Schans is only 8 km away, where you can visit mills, a shipyard and a clog factory.
The tourist villages of Volendam and Edam are also within a 20-minute drive.
A 36-hole golf course is 17 km away.

In summer you can enjoy the activity on our farm outside or the peace and space from your own seat on our yard. Children can also play undisturbed with us.

We have a lot of natural water around our meadows, where you can fish quietly and swimming water at your doorstep. You can also moor at our private jetty with a boat or canoe after a beautiful trip in the meadow bird nature reserve. Don't forget your photo camera!

Coffee and tea is available in the apartment.

A holiday on our farm is a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the tradition of farming and our connection with nature.

Séjour trÚs agréable dans un lieu que nous recommandons

Pas de communication avec l'agent immobilier. Accueil par la propriétaire au top. Désolées de ne pas l'avoir revue pour notre départ. ProblÚme car le mail confirmant la location ne précisait pas l'adresse exacte : nous avons demandé notre chemin dans le village.

Noord-Holland Bauernhof

Kurzurlaub fĂŒr 3 NĂ€chte. Es ist ein Apartment auf einem Bauernhof im GebĂ€ude ĂŒber dem Stall. Das heißt somit auch Stallgeruch und Insekten. Die Fenster haben Fliegengitter. Der Aufgang zum Apartment und die Treppen innerhalb zum Schlafbereich sind ziemlich steil. HandtĂŒcher und BettwĂ€sche wurde gestellt. Geschirr und Töpfe sind ausreichend vorhanden. Leider haben wir die Vermieter nicht kennengelernt, aber die Kommunikation und Übergabe etc. verlief reibungslos. Wir waren zufrieden. Die Lage ist gĂŒnstig nach Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans und die Gegend.

Gute Lage aber leider nicht sehr gepflegt :-(

Wir haben uns vor allem auf die Milchprodukte gefreut, leider werden diese nicht mehr am Hof verkauft. Wir haben das Beste aus dem Urlaub gemacht, aber wenn man nicht einmal eine Pfanne benutzen kann (schmutzig und abgenutzt) um ein Ei zu braten ist das schade :-(

Beware Rodent Infestation and Dirty!

It all looked so perfect on VRBO, but it sure wasn’t. First of all, the smell from the barn was strong (expected some smell), and there was so much dust and so many cobwebs inside, that it was like Halloween decor. The bathroom was clean except for a giant cobweb over the shower that had its own “pulse”. I guess the breeze rustles through the ceiling above it and caused the web to look like it’s breathing. The owner promised us a tour of the farm before arrival and again upon arrival
it never happened. Then on day two, the mice started (I say started because that is when I noticed them)! I have video of three encounters with them and several more not recorded. Could this happen to anyone? Heck, yes, but don’t “ghost” me for hours when I contact you on VRBO, WhatsApp, AND text message! She finally came several hours later with fish nets and two mouse traps, and tells me
.(can’t make this stuff up), “It’s a working farm, you should expect mice.” WHAT?? Ummm, NO! IF I was to expect mice, I would EXPECT to have been told beforehand, and I would EXPECT traps would have already been set out! So at the time that the landlord showed up on day two with the two mouse traps, I had only seen one mouse at that point, but then there were TWO more spotted on the stove and kitchen counter soon after the owner left. I was totally freaked out!! I caught them on video and sent them to the owner as well. No response for several hours AGAIN, and then the only response was, “Not home.” NEVER heard back from them at all after that and we were there for another day and a half. When we left, we left the mouse droppings on the kitchen counter since there was NO way we could eat there for the rest of our stay, anyway, and we also left the dead mouse in the trap on the kitchen counter. Absolutely horrible!!! No sleep for two nights as every little noise, and there were lots with the hot water radiator pipes expanding and contracting (which was not a problem just letting you know about the scratching and ticking sounds that could’ve been mice to us) and the loud mooing of the cows (which we really wanted to see). I have pics and video of all of this nastiness. I will say the place is quite large and the layout is fantastic, but the rodent infestation needs dealt with! The location was fun in the country and only about 20 mins to the city or 12 mins to the train station by car.

großzĂŒge Ferienwohnung,nette Vermieter,starker Geruch

Die Ferienwohnung liegt auf der HausrĂŒckseite direkt neben dem Stall und der Eingang in die Ferienwohnung geht durch ein Funktionsraum auf einer vLichtrosttreppe nach oben. Der Stall ist in der KĂŒche nur durch eine HolztĂŒr und einem kleinen Gang getrennt und dadurch der Geruch sehr stark. Der Gartenist schön fotogrfiert, aber es zeigt nicht den Blick auf die MĂŒlltonnen, das Plumsklo und gelegentlich auf WĂ€sche. Auf der Holzsitzbank kann niemand mehr sitzen. Alles andere als einladend.Es stehen aber andere Sitzmöglichkeiten zur VerfĂŒgung. Das Fließ vor dem Haus ist sehr schön-wir haben uns alles dahin getragen. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett. Die Wohnung ist schön groß und die Betten richtig gemĂŒtlich.Insgesamt haben wir uns aber leider nicht wohl gefĂŒhlt, obwohl wir oft Urlaub auf Bauernhöfen machen.

Wir sind Angler und die Gegend wirklich super. Die Wohnung ist gerÀumig aber im Sommer wohl etwas zu warm. Eine Klima wÀre super. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

What a treat!

My husband is a farmer’s child and so enjoyed the experience staying at this modern (complete with robots) organic farm. Marcel, his wife and children were lovely hosts and we were 21 minutes from downtown Amsterdam by train. We highly recommend this experience.

Entspannter Kurzurlaub!

Die Ferienwohnung liegt abseits des turbulenten Amsterdam, ruhig gelegen und trotzdem nah dran. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit gewesen. Die Wohnung sauber und ordentlich. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, der Bauernhof wurde uns gezeigt und genau erklÀrt, das fanden wir prima und interessant. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an Evelien! Der direkte Zugriff an frische Milch, Johghurt und KÀse ist ein absolutes Highlight gewesen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Bauernhof mitten in der idyllischen Polderlandschaft direkt am Kanal

Wir waren fĂŒr einen Kurztrip zum Angeln in der Region und haben uns fĂŒr dieses Haus als Unterkunft entschieden. Es handelt sich um einen Bauernhof, der direkt an einem Kanal liegt, der wenig Bootsverkehr aufwies. FĂŒr uns war diese Unterkunft sehr gut geeignet. Der Wohnbereich war gemĂŒtlich und sehr gut ausgestattet, der Eingangsbereich und der Hof boten genĂŒgend Platz, um die AusrĂŒstung vor- und nachzubereiten oder um einfach nur zu grillen, und die Lage bot direkten Zugang zu den GewĂ€ssern. Außerdem waren die Vermieter Ă€ußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zusammenfassend ist die Unterkunft sehr empfehlenswert und fĂŒr unseren nĂ€chsten Angelausflug definitiv wieder eine Überlegung wert.
