We LOVE WeekiWachee
Publié le 2 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayThis is a great location within the WeekiWachee Gardens. This cottage is on a peaceful canal, a quick paddle to the main river. We were in our kayaks daily: upstream to the state park and downstream to hospital hole, where you are guaranteed to see manatee. We really enjoyed our stay here. Mandy & Johnathan were quick to respond to our queries. This is REAL Florida! No need to go to Disney World. Let me see manatee any day over MickeyMouse:)

Amazing as usual
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HomeAwaySaw a mom and baby manatee right at the dock. Also a mom and juvenile bottle nosed dolphins at the dock which need to be in salt water so get shoed back out. We’ve seen a small gator before, turtles, all kinds of water birds. I think a hawk was nesting in a tree across the way. Lobster rolls special at the marina on Thursdays. Free kayaks and a ramp into the water is amazing. Great place. We’ve been coming for years to this same place

Amazing river
Publié le 17 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe river was awesome. We floated down the river and the temperature was perfect.
I have never seen a modular home on stilts so that was pretty cool.
Home was spacious.
We were disappointed in the board games that were there so I purchased a few and put them in the tv stand.
