Publié le 10 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayUnfortunately, a hurricane was the reason we were unable to enjoy this property. However, I will say that communication with the host was excellent. We were kept informed of the weather and our options to reschedule. We will plan on a future stay.

Great Property, poor communication
Publié le 26 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayHouse was great as always. Poor communication from property manager. I've been renting this house since 2019. I always leave it cleaner than when I arrived. I left early and didn't stay my last night there because of the impending hurricane and severe weather. I messaged the property manager and advised we left in order to provide them the opportunity to secure the property and items. As usual, I received no response. No acknowledgement, let alone a thank you. It's just disheartening for the property to be as wonderful as it is, but have it managed in this way.

I apologize for our lack of communication as that is normally not the case, We strive to have an open line of communication with our guests and apparently with the impending storm we dropped the ball with you

Amazing place to stay!!!
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur whole family of five loved this house. Pictures do not do it justice. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The location on the river was perfect. Loved all the mermaid decor and all the outside seating. We hope to stay again in the future!

Publié le 9 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay, fantastic location & amenities. I would strongly suggest property gets life vests for all ages. Thank goodness we brought 1 child and 6 adult life vests. There were numerous propane tanks thank goodness 1 was full since the grill tank was empty. Definitely ask the host if tanks are full if planning on using the grill or gas fire pit. washer / dryer upstairs in master bedroom, no laundry soap but we brought some with us. Road getting to the rental may be rough for a car due to sand and rain it could make it tough for a car. Overall this location is a beautiful spot on the river and we will certainly be back.

Manatee Bucket List
Publié le 6 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a wonderful getaway. The location is perfect. We paddled down stream to eat at Upper Deck and back. Next day paddled up stream to State park and back. Beautiful water, manatees, fish and birds. My Round Boat rental was perfect for my husband who was not enthusiastic about paddling up stream for several miles! House is perfect, will definitely return and highly recommend.

One of a Kind Experience
Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe entire stay was absolutely amazing! Inside, outside, and surrounding areas are all breathtaking.
So much wildlife, we saw manatees, crabs, all kind of fish and otter float by as we hung out on the deck. Deer walked in the river, bobcat jump on the tree right across the river from the property. This is A must stay for nature lovers!
Kids and we jumped and stayed in the river all day long and floated down the current.
The house inside is one of a kind interior design wood craftsmanship! Everything inside is custom made wood furniture and the entire interior is made out of wood, it is absolutely stunning. A unique experience in its own.
Kitchen was well stocked, but can use few more glasses and wine glasses. And needs an ICE CREAM SCOOPER 😄
We used the kayaks every day to go both ways up and down the river which has many sandy beach stops to take a break, splash in the water, and jump off the trees.
There were PLENTY of towels for everyone and a lot more extras we didn’t even need to use. Beds are comfy, king bed is SUPER comfortable.
Host was quick to respond to our inquiries.
Overall 10/10 experience. Unforgettable stay!
We cannot wait to be back! Recommend to everyone who loves Florida springs, nature, or just wants a quiet tranquil getaway.
