We drove for 14 hours, then went to check into the hotel. They wouldn’t let us stay because we wanted to pay in cash. They told us to go to the bank and deposit it. We are from Colorado!! Then they charged us on Friday for a one night stay because we were “a no show”!! We tried to check in. The hotel staff wouldn’t credit us back and were quite rude about it. We stayed at the Double Tree instead and paid cash!!! They were amazing!!

The property was in great condition, it seemed like a fairly new hotel. The room was a great size, it was nice to have real dishes in the room, the larger fridge was very useful, and the large sink was an unexpected surprise. The bathroom door being a barn door was quite unusual. It made it a little awkward traveling with a companion because it didn’t seal around the edges. Also, there was no fan in the bathroom which made visiting the facilities in the middle of the night rather loud. Other than that, we have a great time at the Home2 Suites.
