My mistake and never again!
This is an average hotel with average service. It was clean. I will never stay here again and this is partly my own fault. We left an orthopedic pillow in our room, I called immediately (the evening when we got home), to ask if they could keep and I would return and pick it up. I was told that they did not have access to housekeeping but would check and call me in the morning. Next day no call so i called the next afternoon and same story. On Tuesday 2 days later I called again and was told that the pillow had been destroyed because it had a stain on it. Since I use this all the time and know that this is a lie. It was a very expensive pillow and it was my fault for leaving it but what happened to lost and found, I am sure that it was stolen by staff and you hate to point fingers but this pillow was in a pillow case and has never been slept on without a case. I will search to replace it but it took me years to find it as I have neck and back issues and have not found another as I have wanted a backup. Lesson learned never hurry to check out and do not trust or allow any staff person into room until I have double checked. I repeat I realize this is my fault but believe handled improperly by staff. Lost and found???
The price was good, and the staff was very attentive and courteous. There were some loud guests which was about the only drawback. The breakfast was more than adequate, but it doesn't have a lot of options for people on restricted diets. The staff was quick to replenish anything that was going low (scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon (depending on the day), biscuits and gravy). The hotel was clean, and while the showers were an older design they had good water pressure and plenty of hot water - although it can take a minute to warm up. The furniture is a little dated but adequate. The beds were very comfortable, clean, and provided a good night's sleep. Definitely a good stopover for anyone on a budget.
The only thing I did not like was the breakfast food. They put pre-heat but still cold sausage in the heating container. However, some are still cold. Otherwise, you get the price that you pay. It is clean, smells good in the hallways. Friendly staff as well.
This was the worst stay ever. The hotel itself was decent for the price. However, im not sure what is really going on there. The first couple of days was ok. Then it turn into walking through a crowd of 4 smoking weed right at the hotel door. The noise increase significantly, to the point that i had to play a loud rain sound on youtube to sleep. I will never stay here again. I couldn’t wait to leave.
Stay was fine, nothing special. There was a truck outside our window just idling that got annoying. Possible information visitors not to sit outside in the parking lot with your vehicle running late at night especially if it's running a big motor and maybe do better informing guests of the exact deposit amount. Perhaps it was somewhere in front of my face but I never seen it. Was going to use my debit card and if course I forgot to inform them I was traveling so I was just going to use cash and of course it was policy for debit/ credit card deposit $50. Cash deposit $100. So guess what, I didn't have $100 cash, so I spent the next 15 minutes getting my card straightened out then had to wait on line for 15 more minutes because a large group was checking in. If I would had known this when I paid for the room 3 days prior, i wouldn't have Just added the deposit on my card right then or would have known to have $100 cash. Either way that information was available or not transparent enough to be noticed
