Run down, skeleton staff, felt like “ghost hotel” Holes and stains all over walls in bedroom and hallways Dirty marks on bedding, had to be moved to another room Manager who was also waiter and general dogs body was very helpful Receptionist was lovely, friendly and helpful No staff around at all in evening, felt quite strange and unsafe

Dear Lorraine, Thank you for the time to leave us your feedback, I can only offer my apologies once again for the inconviences caused by the standard of room you had received, this is certainly not what we would epxect any of our guests and appropriate action has been taken. I am delighted you enjoyed the service received by Kira at the front desk. We do indeed have staff on in the evening, they are downstairs in our Chariots bar and are on hand to help with any guest needs. This hotel is not fit to be open. State of the rooms was horrendous. Breakfast was a joke. Receptionist and waitress were both lovely. Felt really sorry for the having to listen to everyone complaining.

Dear Fiona, While I am pleased to read that you enjoyed the service given by the staff during your visit the situation regarding your breakfast and room is of course not acceptable. I am aware we experienced a busier than normal breakfast during your visit which had caused operational challenges to which you unfortunately had suffered because of. Please be assured this is not the norm at the scores and we have now put measures in place to improve our service offering and the room that you had stayed in.
