Comfortable and Well Located
Publié le 9 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Vintage is in a perfect spot to access the Old Course, the beach, the castle and old-town St. Andrews. Comfortable and spacious for a flat, even the upstairs bedrooms are more spacious than typical. Loved it and would stay again.

Fantastic Spot in St Andrews
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty is ideally located and was very comfortable for our group of four golfers. Loved being just off the Scores. The sun room was our favorite spot. I've been to St Andrews 7 times and this was by far the best spot I've stayed.

St Andrews Wedding Getaway
Publié le 5 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I were the parents of the groom for a large St Andrews Wedding. About 70 Yanks made the trip including family and friends.
Mostly we loved the cottage because it was very comfortable, full of character, quiet, with a great location.
But also it was easy to accommodate wedding guests stopping by to say hi and share a glass of wine or whisky.
The kitchen is terrific.
I thought the pretty small fridge might be too small - but it was fine. There is a clothes line, so when it stopped raining it was easy to dry clothes.
My wife's parents stayed downstairs with their own bathroom, while my wife and I took up the whole upstairs. It was very private and worked out great.
The very best part of the place is the conservatory. 1st thing in the morning and at night - this was a perfect place. Just beautiful and wonderful. It would get a bit hot during the day if the skylights and windows weren't opened, but if they were things stayed comfortable.
This cottage worked perfectly for us. But would also be perfect for golf or visiting kids at Uni.
When we return to St Andrews we will want to stay here.

The Vintage is the perfect home base for a golf trip

Location between Old Course and restaurants and pubs couldn't be better.
VRBO itself was perfect for us - we were a group of 6 men travelling for golf, and this house worked great. Sitting area with large table under the glass provided huge amount of room for playing cards and eating. More space than the pictures would indicate. St. Andrew's is a special place for golfer's, and a great town for anyone to visit.
Our recommendations: Best Courses are Old Course, Kingsbarn's and Castle. Little Italy for dinner and Bibi's Cafe for Breakfast a couple favourites for food. And of course need to grab a pint at The Dunvegan. Best shops for merchandise were The Old Course Shop across from the 18th green of the Old Course and The Pro Shop in the Old Course Hotel.
