I was very impressed with how well this place was decorated. They had everything that I expected in the amenities list in the post. I think it’s also important to know that the property is in a gated community for your extra security which gave me a feel of exclusivity during my stay. The rooms have central air and the bathrooms are beautiful. I was really pleased and I think that you would be too. Thanks again guys one love!

Spacious, new home. But beds were not as described in size. Neither in comfort. Hard as rock mattresses, and pillows. We stayed 5 nights, the manager was in a rush to get out when we arrived, and difficult to communicate with. It took us an hour to find the place as the street is in a community and not on maps. And we did not know about the community name. We were suppose to have a private beach access, but we did not. Good thing I always travel with towels because for the 3 of us we only got 4 large towels and 2 washcloths. This is not enough for 5 nights. The contact on the reservation is an US number, got in contact with him before arrival via WhatsApp. Never got the manager number until the moment we were lost and needed help with directions. So I contacted the US number and he told me that I needed to call the local manager, he gave me the number then. After many calls with the manager we found the property, not perfectly clean but I guess enough for the Jamaican standard. Fridge was not full for the DIY continental breakfast. But when we realized it was too late manager was gone and not answering her phone anymore. The place was suppose to have 2 twin beds and one queen bed. Not what we found. We got 2 full beds. We were 3 adults so one on each full and one did the couch, without pillow or sheets for the couch. Went to the market to get some. At 6:30 am on Tuesday the manager tried to get in the appt using her key. We were so scared as we were all in bed .

Popo, thank you for the review. I am the manager the guest spoke with and I was on the phone with the guest helping her to find her way. The guest was depending on a Garmin GPS system that was not showing the address. I can hardly see how this is the fault of the property as the property is on the map. The guest admitted I reached out to her 3 days prior to arrival. I did and the purpose of doing so was to ensure a smooth arrive. I supplied the guest with the number to the local manager. I gave the guest 7 digits, the entire country is a singular area code. The guest received the number and did not know to dial 876. All I gave the guest in addition was 876. This was my fault and I should have given the guest the full 10 digits. This guest booking did not include breakfast. It was a promo we started after the reservation was made. This property is advertised as 2 queen beds. The apartment have two queen beds dimension 80x60 inches. The guest booked a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 beds and requested a third bed at check in which was not possible. The guest requested more towels at 10pm. I personally dispatch house keeping with towels first thing the next morning in the event the guest needed to take an early shower. The housekeeping knocked the door for 2-3 minutes and after no answer she attempt to open the door to leave the towels in the living room for the guest. This is very normal for housekeeping to enter if there is not DO NOT DISTURB sign. The guest did not mention any discomfort with the beds when I checked on the guest. Perhaps I dropped the ball as our reviews are normally a 5/5. I will learn from this and be of better service. Thanks again for the review.

Very Comfortable

Not too many places gives you a king size bed and great service. This is our third time staying at Fern Court and we always enjoy staying here. The edge are grown now so the view of the Ocean is not so good anymore but this place is very much a good place to stay. We will definitely continue to make this our second home in Ocho Rios.

Good day Richard, normal when someone had such a negative experience they would had a few words to share. It would appear this low score may have been and error or I hope it is.

My recent stay at this location was surprisingly good, great room, fresh bed linen a very clean atmosphere, in summation a great place to stay, keep up the good work.

Pour : I love the fact that we could access all the facility at the Palms and Coolshade (two sister properties)
Contre : It would be nice if the private beach was on the property instead of 2 minutes away
Great security, beautiful surroundings and perfect location as it is close to Ocho rios town. Gated community with security guard. The art and crafts market and other tourist sites were minutes away. The Apartment was also very spacious and each room had it had 2 bathrooms which was really nice. Private pool was on the sister property next door and access to a private beach down the road. The manager of the apartment was also very lovely and made sure we were comfortable through out our stay.

VERY NICE VILLA IN OCHI

Pour : The community has its own private beach and its own general store
Pictures doesn't describe the scenic view that this place has! I'VE STAYED AT MANY VILLAS BUT THIS ONE IS NICE! The modern up to date appliances, large patio for dining, and WiFi that actually works. If you get a chance explore the property, check out the private beach. Also, check on the sister property next door, it is called "The Palms". The country store/deli had everything you could possibly need and the villa is just minutes away from downtown... Great stay SERENITY
