Staying at fern court really gave me the island feel. With the garden view and lush colors of the island, it was a lot different from back home. The community is gated which is really nice. The apartment was super comfortable and I really liked the fact that I had a full kitchen. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in C201 and I was pretty upset when I arrived. There was little to no ocean-view. I was upset with Lorraine the manager at check-in. An hour later the owner showed up with two bottles of wine and some other items. We stepped outside and he showed me what was the ocean-view 4 years ago when he named the apartment. The landscaping grew in and blocked the view but he did not change the name since they invested so much money into marketing under that name. The owner was very sincere and to be honest the apartment and the area is so nice the view really did not matter. If not for they view I would have ranked the experience 5/5. This apartment is definitely worth a try.

Thanks for the review. I will speak with the owners about the name change. The name is definitely no longer fitting, however we still have a fantastic property at a great bargain especially for a family/group.

The landscaping is has grown an block what was seemingly the ocean view :(. Other than that the place is very nice and management was very professional.

It was the most awful experience of all of my travel experiences. They told us we owed more money after our first night when our booking said completely paid for. When we refused to pay they locked us out of the property with our belongings inside. We had to get another room and leave without our things. If you don't want your vacation ruined don't stay there. It ruined ours!

I will stick to the facts. The guest arrived with a partially paid reservation. Though it is policy to not allow a guest with a balance to check-in, the guest said she would go into town and get the funds from the ATM. We made an appointment to go back and collect the funds from the guest. when we went back the guest refused to pay the balance claiming she is paid in full. We asked the guest to call Hotels.com so we can solve the situation and the guest keep refusing. Whenever we called Hotels.com the guest would walk away and refuse to talk to Hotels.com. We gave the guest an ultimatum to pay the balance, or stay for only one night for which partial payment would cover. In the morning the guest was nowhere in sight. Today the guest called Hotels.com to report us as attempting to scam her and hotels.com informed the guest that she partially paid for the stay and she had an obligation to pay the rest upon arrival as stated on the travel itinerary. It is unfortunate this guest chose not to pay the balance and refuses to talk to hotels.com while at the property. The day of the scheduled check-out opened the doors with two managers, and security present and made a video. There was nothing left behind. To prove to the world this guest checked out and was not locked out we will post the video on youtube under "locked out Ocho Rios Guest". This guest was never locked out and we do not have anything left behind by this guest.

After a day of attractions, it was tranquil returning to the apartment. The apartment was as advertised and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The is a very good base-camp from which to see and enjoy Ocho Rios. Recommend highly to me and I now recommend it highly to you...

Beautiful Apartment

I stayed at this property with my fiance in October 2017. Ms. Beverly the property manager greeted us and she was very kind and helpful! the apartment was nicely furnished and very comfortable. We had a car so we were able to get around and go places throughout the day, but the grocery store that is on the property is very convenient.

Very private and quiet apartment

Emplacement : The country store is at the front and it has "everything"
My husband and I stayed at this apartment with our infant and were provided with all of the amenities necessary to care for her as comfortably as we would at home. We paid additional for daily housekeeping and the housekeeper was pleasant and made sure to address any concerns or questions we had during our stay. My husband and I would definitely stay there again or recommend it to others.

Wedding in Ochi

Pour : Very spacious, well kept, secure and close to Ocho Rios Town Center
I went to Jamaica to get married. My lady was handling all the details. When we checked out the beach hotel (I cannot say the name) we decided to get married at Fern Court under the cabana instead. The manager was very instrumental in helping us with the arrangements, they were very professional. The apartment we fitting for our honey moon. It was my first time in Ocho Rios and I really enjoyed every minute of it. I am very grateful to the owners of this lovely apartment for saving the day. I recommend booking this apartment. Very comfortable, secure and well-appointed establishment, perfect for a group would want to enjoy Ocho Rios.

GLAD WE BOOKED THIS ONE

The second review below almost caused us to change our mind about booking this apartment and I am glad we did not. Beware this is a very nice accommodation if you would like a cheaper priced fully loaded apartment where you can go grocery shopping, make meals and entertain friends and family. This seems to be the perfect spot for a family to take a vacation. If you are the type who need someone to cater to your needs, this kind of self-catering setup will not work for you. This apartment is very clean and have all the amenities you would want on vacation but it doesnt come with a maid. We had a group 4 so this worked out very well for us. There is a neighborhood store at the entrance that sells everything you can imagine. The town center was 5 to 7 minutes by car. We lived it up for over a week, beaches, excursions, party etc. It is recommend you have a rental car as you will not be in the middle of town center. I personally love this place so much I would not trade the safety and quietness for a place in the town. I cannot say much for the Richmond Beach Club but there are about 10 beaches within 20 minutes. I relly enjoyed my stay and HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spot.
