6. Please remember to keep doors and windows closed if they lack screens to prevent critters from entering. Avoid leaving food or crumbs on surfaces to deter pests. Rest assured, our property receives regular pest treatment for your comfort and safety.

We had a wonderful stay at the Coastal Cottage. The home is beautiful, bright, and clean, and had everything we could possibly need. It's very roomy inside also and could easily accommodate a family of six. It was also very close to the historic district. The caretaker, Bill, was so nice and very quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Sing Out Loud Festival
Brought the family down for a long weekend d of good music. Found this hidden gem online and booked it for the weekend. Far & away the best property that we have stayed at thru VRBO. The house is immaculate & either brand new or completely remodeled. Great use of space for a small property. Will definitely look to use again when we are back in the St. Augustine area!!!

The Perfect Quaint Cottage
Communication with the property owner before and during our stay was great!! This home had just what we needed for a fabulous weekend get-away with friends. We were in St Augustine for a family wedding and found the Coastal cottage the perfect place to stay! The property is beautiful and so well equipped, even providing umbrellas for an unexpected rain! Bill the caretaker was very welcoming in his texts. We know he was available if we needed anything but the property was just as portrayed on the site and had everything we needed so we didn’t need to ask him for anything else. Lovely family weekend!

Amazing Stay!
I personally feel like this stay was underpromised and overdelivered. As it was a rush reservation, I wasn't expecting very much. When my family and I arrived and walked into the house, my sister actually said "Wow this is beautiful." I definitely recommend this place. It's a little out of the way of the touristy things, but it was a very short drive to get there (~5 minutes).

House was very well situated and in a convenient location. It was very easy to get to the beach but also to the downtown amenities. My kids loved the bunk beds and bean bag chairs. We also loved being able to use the ample kitchen space. Would recommend highly. Also very responsive property manager.

The property was beautiful- just like the pictures showed. It was convenient to the historic district and things like the St. Augustine Lighthouse. Visiting the Historic District
The Coastal Cottage is a relatively new home in great condition. It is comfortable, well furnished, and feels more spacious than it appears. The kitchen is very well stocked—-one of the best we have experienced in a rental. This home was very clean. We enjoyed the backyard patio. The master suite was very comfortable. The home shows pride of ownership. Bill, the property manager, was very professional and a pleasure to work with for this property. His communication was just the right amount, timely, and helpful. The location is a convent 5 to 10 minutes to the Historic District. This house is one of the nicer ones in the immediate neighborhood. It is an older neighborhood of modest homes. Some are well maintained and some are not. It is a quiet neighborhood. On several afternoons, my wife and I walked around the neighborhood and felt safe.

Well stocked
The house was wonderful, very comfortable and an abundant supply of excellent kitchen items along with a cupboard full of spices. Everything you would want or need and then some! Beds very comfortable, lighting and decor very pleasing and enjoyable. Just wasn't too sure about the surrounding area at first as several homes were in run down condition, but we felt safe once settled in. We would highly recommend this home!

New Year’s Getaway
The Coastal Cottage was the perfect house for our recent family vacation to St. Augustine. The location was perfect for site seeing as well as amenities such as groceries and restaurants. The house was beautiful, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. It was also fully stocked with all of the necessities and more! Bill, the property manager, was great. He made sure we knew how to reach him if necessary and made sure we had all the information we needed to get settled. Just a heads up to any light sleepers thinking of renting… bring a noise machine or ear plugs as there are train tracks and roosters near by. The light sleepers in our group were woken multiple times in the night. The heavy sleepers in the family were just fine. We would all like to visit St Augustine again one day, and if we do, we would absolutely rent the Coastal Cottage again, but I will bring a sound machine with me next time. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fabulous Place!
The Coastal Cottage was an excellent place to stay for our visit. It was in close proximity and driving distance to everything we wanted to see and do. The house was immaculate on the inside and very quiet during our stay. We specifically wanted to recognize and praise Bill, the caretaker during our stay. He was always very responsive, helpful, and extremely attentive to our questions and any assistance we needed. The property is in a very quiet neighborhood, and there are coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, and an outstanding fresh seafood vendor within 3-5 minutes of the property. The landscaping of the home is just beautiful, with excellent places to relax at the front and rear of the home. Really can't say enough about Bill.......we'd give him 10 stars if we could. If you have any interest in history at all, try not to miss the Spanish Fort and the St. Augustine lighthouse. There is history everywhere you look in this town. Exemplary property!

St. Augustine history
We were three sisters. We do a sisters trip every year. This year was my pick. My other two sisters had never been there. The cottage is a dream. Everything was perfect. Including, Bill, the property manager. The cottage is in an old neighborhood so you have some old and some new remodeled houses. You need a car to get to downtown and the parking is sparse but we got a two day pass for the hop on and hop off bus and parked there. You can do everything from that bus. We did a lot of walking too and had a great trip. Ate two times at Harry’s. Loved the Flagler college tour. You have to sign up in advance for that but full of local history.
