Tout était parfait ; appartement très propre, accès à la plage facile, qualité de l’offre dans la restauration, ville de St-Augustine, gentillesse du personnel du bureau.

Will NOT be back
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HotelsOut of the four TVs in our suite only one actually had cable. One did not have a remote, one only got one channel and one only local stations.
The microwave was unusable. It would trip the entire condos electric when it was used.
Were not provided with enough toilet paper or trash bags for a week. This is a huge oversight and since there is no office, there’s no way to go ask for more. Should not have had to take time away from my vacation to go buy TP and garbage bags.
Couch cushions were heavily stained. No black out curtains or any curtains on any of the windows.
Abysmal help finding the unit. The grounds very dilapidated and finding the room was near impossible. Signs showing only bottom floor numbers but not 2nd or 3rd. Took 20min to find where we were staying.
The walk to the beach is LONG and winds around three pools, a hot tub, a falling apart wooden path (broken boards, popped nails, etc)

First and foremost I am so sorry to hear that your stay was not a good one. We wished that you let us know sooner you were unhappy with things in the room. We could have then tried to turn an unhappy smile to a bigger smile.

I304 unit was clean but air conditioning did not work. Reported it but nothing changed. Beach was quiet and peaceful highlight of the stay.

No ocean view as advertised
Mattress as hard as cement. Decor and appliances need upgrading as well.

We are very sorry to hear of the mattress, most people love them. We are doing renovations ,one building at a time.

The property is a great location. Close to the beach. Only negative I have to share is some amenities not available/working, and poor communication after the fact. The condo was clean, and the beds were comfortable.

Ocean Gate Hibiscus had a great location. The beach access led to beautiful, soft white sand. We often saw dolphins just off the beach. Grocery and restaurants were less than 10 minutes away. The property itself was outdated but served its purpose in a quiet corner. We asked to extend our visit an additional day which customer service was able to accommodate. Although no one answered the phone, their response time to sent messages was quick and helpful.
