Family time at the beach

Football Getaway Weekend

Surf’s Up Review
Publié le 27 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThere were things we loved about Surf’s Up and other things that were less than desirable. The amenities were fabulous, and the home was well equipped. The ocean-front location and proximity to the beach were excellent, although not have a prime ocean view was a disappointment—only because my favorite thing about being at the beach is watching the sunrise. The home has a very musty odor and mold on the ceiling in the living room—health concern. The faucet in the upstairs primary bath was unusable because the water had a sewer smell. The driveway flooded during an overnight rain storm, and there was standing water above the tires and door level of two of our cars, causing concern about driving both cars. Also, it would have been helpful for the host to have provided guides for the tvs and a packet of local info. Although our family enjoyed the trip, the negatives ( especially the mold) out weighed the positives.

Thanks for your thoughts. I am sorry about the tv challenge you faced. I ask guests not to mess with the cables or set up of Tv's but often they remove cables which disrupt the provider. Smart TV's offer to many options in my opinion.
I should have tried to walk you through how to fix this.
I have tried for years to get the city of St. Augustine to help with the river of water that comes down the street, but to no avail. I can't control the weather and how much rain comes our way. I try to include local things and restaurants to visit, but don't know exactly what each guest wants. Thanks again for your visit.

Great family get away
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe booked this property for a quick three night beach getaway with my family and two other families. The property had plenty of space for 6 adults and 7 children. The beach is steps away and the pool was awesome.

The BEST location for our girls trip
Publié le 22 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis adorable beach house is in the perfect location. Enjoy the most amazing sunrises on the beach which is literally steps away. Listen to the waves crash against the shore while relaxing in the pool or hot tub. Tons of space for sleeping and hanging out. Stocked very well especially for going to the beach with bikes, chairs, a wagon and umbrellas. We had the best time and communication with the property manager was super easy and seamless, he gave us tons of recommendations for places to go and things to see. Seriously you will not find a better location to enjoy the St Augustine beach!

Perfect Beach Location

The pool was in constant use, multiple hours on the beach (awesome sunrise walks!). It was a short walk to restaurants, shops, and mini golf. Grocery stores were minutes away. And downtown St Augustine was a short drive.
A perfect spot for a family vacation.
