Fall Vacation
Publié le 3 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was nicely located. South of St. Augustine show you could be away from all of the traffic. Lots of things to do in downtown St. Augustine. The rental was great. Nice having 2 bedrooms upstairs that had king beds and private bathrooms. Large flat screen TV. Very nice place.

Block from beach
Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is a short walk to the beach and made for ease of an enjoyable beach day. Many restaurants, grocery stores, are all within 10 minutes and an easy drive. The house was comfortable and spacious for the group. The owners were responsive and kind during our stay. We would stay here again.

The house is near shopping, restaurants and food stores. The host was always quick to respond to any of my questions or requests. I will definitely recommend this house and visit it again.

Good Location
Publié le 29 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house is very close to the beach which was very nice. Quick walk with all of our chairs and tent. The house was fine, the 2 lower bedroom are right at the carport, so you literally walk out of the bedroom and the car is right there. Walls were paper thin so whoever sleeps in the bottom bedrooms, plan to be woken up anytime someone enters the house or walks around the kitchen / living room. The back porch is nice. There are not many bath towels so you might want to bring your own. Also bring your own toilet paper because we were left with half rolls when we checked in. I know a lot of that stuff was said in the listing but I’ve never stayed somewhere and not had this stuff provided. Mistake on my part for not being more prepared. To summarize, this is ideal for being close to the beach and in a safe area.

As you said, the cleaning crew provides limited supplies to get you started (including 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom). Information about what is provided and the number of towels is also given to guests in advance. We are glad you enjoyed our home in St. Augustine and we hope to host you again.

Family vacation

Such a fabulous week!
Publié le 10 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house had everything we needed to cook our meals and plenty of space to eat! The property was clean and spacious for our entire family. A beautiful porch gives an option for outdoor dining. The walk to the beach was so easy! Even with a toddler!

Wonderful Stay!
Publié le 2 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family and I had a wonderful stay at Shore Thing! We loved the open space and roominess of the house. It was in a perfect location to the beach and the beach was nice and quiet. Communication was excellent as well. My family loved staying at Shore thing!

Great Place
Publié le 17 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThere were five adults, and we were all impressed with how clean the house was on our arrival.
It is nicely decorated and comfortable. It suited our needs. Good location to the beach which was beautiful and so was the water, many options for restaurants, and not far to St. Augustine Old Town. We would recommend it. We do not need the manager David during our stay, but he was responsive immediately when I messaged him on our arrival and departure.
