Hotel loin du centre de St Augustine (50 mn à pieds). Pas de ménage et un acceuil déplorable.

Booked for two nights 09/21-09/23. When we first arrived the room smelled musty. Didn't really think anything of it because it was dated. When we were ready to go to sleep, my daughter noticed some "bugs" in the headboard. Upon further inspection, we knew it was Bed Bugs. We grabbed all of our belongings and put them into the car. I went to the night clerk to tell him. He didn't act surprised. He said he couldn't refund us, we would have to talk to the manager in the morning. The manager "Brian" was hard to get in touch with. When my daughter finally reached him, he denied the problem, tried to tell her we must have brought a dog with fleas. We didn't travel with any pets. And didn't want to refund us. After she sent him an email with pictures, he finally relented, and refunded us one night, even though we were unable to stay at all. I ended up getting a room down the street at a Hilton and checking in at 11pm. I would NOT recommend this place under any circumstances. The board of health needs to pay them a visit.

We did refund both nights although we didn't find any evidence of bedbugs. We have not had any confirmed bedbug incidents in the three years that I have been here. The picture she sent was a bed bug but on a white paper. I couldn't confirm if it was from here.

All was great except for the breakfast. Thats not a deal-breaker for a future revisit. Staff wasn't really cheerful but again not a deal-breaker

The receptionist at the front desk she was very friendly and very helpful she contact Trolley so the could pick us at the hotel. Very friendly.
