The Lost Gardens of Heligan are ten minutes drive away as is the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey with many gift shops and restaurants. Wonderful Cottage

A beautiful cottage, so very comfy and spotlessly clean and welcoming. Truro and Ted are the perfect hosts. Excellent base for travelling around. Less then 2min walk to cliff-tops and breath-taking-views. So peaceful and calm. First visit, and have already booked second visit forn next summer. See you soon.

Wedding stay

What a beautiful place to be for our wedding weekend. I've walked past this gorgeous home a lot over the last 11 years, and have dreamed of staying there. And this was the perfect opportunity. Lots of space and light, with a fabulously romantic feel. Perfect for the pre wedding fish and chip supper gathering of our nearest and dearest, delightful for me and my bridesmaid to be pampered in, and exactly what we needed to wind down in after our weekend of celebrations in the village. Trudi and Ted were incredible hosts, who were very accepting of the coming and going on the day of the wedding. Spotlessly clean and warm, this flat os a real treat. The hill is a steep climb from everywhere in the village, but that's Gorran Haven! It's a village that keeps you fit! Thank you, Trudi and Ted, for hosting a beautiful home from home.

This was a great find in lovely countryside and a good location. Has everything you need for your stay, very spacious and comfortable for 3 people. The host is very communicative and very helpful for the stay and where to visit in local area.

Perfect location, lovely cottage, delightful hosts

We had the loveliest break in Gorran Haven. The cottage is clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. It's in the perfect location - near enough to everything for convenience but far enough away to feel quiet and secluded. Trudi was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. We will be back!

Amazing flat and location

We loved the flat and the associated cottage garden. All amenities were as described in the listing, neat and precise. Location is perfect. This flat is right on the coastal walk path and 2 mins to vault beach. So it was perfect for a relaxing holiday. Mevagissy (the nearest town) was very near with lots of eating options although Gorran Haven itself had many good eating options. We loved the setting and relaxing nature of the place. We were lucky to catch a drama rehearsal and their performance as well. Hosts live below the flat and Trudi and Ted were very friendly and helpful. We couldn't reach on the time we expected, but Ted was around to welcome us and we met Trudi next day. They made us feel at home and included in the community while we were there. Totally recommend this place for holiday. Especially if you have little kids who like sandy beach and would prefer a "private beach" setting to relax in.

Highly recommended, lovely owners who are always there should you need them. Comfortable cosy and peaceful. The view of the sea and superb beach is just a very short walk from the property.

Cosy accommodation in a lovely area

The flat is like a home from home - spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is well equipped, the double bed is comfortable, and the lounge has a real fire. Trudi and Ted made us feel very welcome. They are both locals and have extensive knowledge of the area.

Fantastic accommodation

This property is in a fantastic position really close to the coastal path and extremely quiet area. The house was spotlessly clean, well appointed and felt very spacious. The owners where friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. The only down side is for those with mobility issues who have to bear in mind the steps up to the front door and the extremely steep hill to climb up from the village.

Fantastic find!

Great location very close to the SWCoast path. Lovely comfortable flat with light airy rooms. A beautiful private garden to sit out in surrounded by seasonal plants & flowers. The sweet peas had just come into flower & were magnificent climbing up the outside of the house. We had a wonderful peaceful week. Trudi & Ted made us very welcome. We will definitely visit again.

Fabulous stay

Lovely spot, so quiet and peaceful and short walking distance to Vault beach. Sparkling clean and all the things you need. We are a family of four, with a 4 year old and 6 year old. We loved it and will be back.

Beautiful place and lovely cottage

The area is beautiful with lovely coastal walks as well as short walk to the beach - such a tranquil location! Short drives to Mavigessey or St Austell. The cottage is very cute and cosy and very clean, with everything one needs. Just perfect to unwind and enjoy beautiful views and sea or country air.
