Great stay

A small B&B but very well managed by Ian. We had a very comfortable 6 day stay. The breakfast was excellent and kept us going all day.

My bed sank down in the middle a lot and pillows were very uncomfortable. Very dusty around floor and under bed.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I am very concerned and disappointed by your comments, particularly as you were here for 5 nights and had every opportunity to raise any concerns with me at any point during that time. As is my practice I always ask on the first morning if you slept well and if everything was comfortable with the room and its facilities. I recall you answered that everything was fine. As can be seen from other reviews on here, we normally score very highly for both bed comfort and cleanliness - something upon which I pride myself. The room was throughly vacuumed and dusted by myself in preparation for your arrival, so I am unclear why you felt it was dusty as suggested - I obviously didn’t do a thorough vacuum of the carpets during your stay, given that the floor was covered in your luggage. Despite the fact that I have never had concerns raised about the bed or pillow quality in the past , if this had been raised during your stay, I could have tried to rectify it by perhaps turning the mattress or changing the pillows. That said, I’m sorry that the bed and room were not to your particular liking. I guess you can’t please everyone all of the time - even though I try - but it’s sad that you have chosen to highlight your concerns in this way rather than in person. As you will have been well aware from our prior email conversations and lovely chats during your stay, I always go out of my way to ensure my guests are happy at all times, so your comments have been disappointing to see.

It was amazing. The hosts Ian and Wayne couldn't have been more welcoming and catered for our every need. The reviews do not do it justice. We had the Rose Room and even the separate private bathroom didn't make a blind bit of difference to our stay. It was like staying with friends. We will be going back

Lovely clean accommodation with beautiful garden. Excellent host. Great breakfast. Good location, close to Eden’s project.

Extremely friendly reception. The room was very clean and smelled like orchids. Breakfast was excellent. I recommend Eden's Rest. Every detail is perfect. My wife and I will be back soon.

The property and facilities within were immaculate. Cleanliness was 5-star as was the food and service. Of all the places we have stayed away, this was far by the best experience. Would highly recommend.

Lovely B&B hidden away...

Located in Bugle. Easy drive to all attractions. Bungalow with 2 rooms, one en suite. Room had everything you need, including tea making facilities, topped up everyday, tv, fan etc. Access to gorgeous garden and daily FULL breakfast ( cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, and hot choices)in conservatory. Also, lounge room with tv comfortable sofas etc. at front. Ian is a very obliging owner and couldn't do enough. Helped us set up for takeaways and gave us use of cutlery etc, even warmed up plates!! Daily cleaning. Beds comfortable. Shower excellent- very powerful. En suite small but functional and cleaned daily. Heated towel rail, and towels freshened daily. Ian has 2 lovely small,older dogs- no bother at all - friendly and mostly quiet. Ian would have restricted them if we wanted, but we were happy with them. Owner has good knowledge of main attractions and local area. All in all a good stay and very personable host.
