Week in Cornwall

We have stayed in other similar places in Cornwall and Devon and have had better welcomes with homely vases of flowers, sometimes scones, jam and cream. The house lacks finishing touches and is all blue and white and dare I say it needs a “woman’s touch”. The stairs down to the bedrooms needs some attention! The garden and pool were lovely although we did not see a pool attendant all week.

I'm really sorry you were disappointed with your stay, and thank you for your suggestions.
We recently made changes to the decor and it sounds like you don't approve. I'll discuss with the family the idea of brightening things up a bit.
As far as the welcome pack, I'll discuss with our cleaning company and see what they can provide.
Finally the pool, the pool is serviced on the changeover day. I thought it would be best as it wouldn't disturb guests using the pool.

Everything was immaculate & the large heated pool is the icing on the cake . Used every day despite the somewhat inclement weather.

Superb holiday

The garden and swimming pool were superb with a lovely sea view pleasant 10 minute walk to the beach and as a bonus was dog friendly this year. We would recommend it as a fantastic holiday and hope to go back again.
David our host was extremely helpful and provided all the information we needed. Lovely and clean and plenty of room for everyone.
Thank you to everyone involved in making this a fantastic holiday.
