Cabin Stay

After admiring them for a short time, we entered the cabin and were blown away with the beautiful woodwork, cozy fireplace and wooden bar in the kitchen! The bike trails and everything we needed or wanted were within a mile. We were able to fish on the lake. Such a wonderful quiet place to spend some time! The hostess was very kind and accommodating to our needs! We will definitely be staying here again!

Publié le 5 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The cabin was clean, idyllic, picturesque and perfect for 2! Yhe interior is stunning. The wildlife is abundant and fishing decent. We will definitely return.

Little get away

Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayYou’ll enjoy the quiet nature; lake walk, black squirrels, deer, trees, polite and friendly neighbors. Easy to find. Cabin is clean and modern. Bed and furniture are comfortable.

I especially loved the daily visits from different groups of deer!

Unique cabin
Publié le 4 août 2024 sur HomeAwayFirst off, it is not 100% handicap accessible. Getting into the main door and into the shower yes. But the bed was hard for us to get into, and we are not handicapped. High bed with large side logs you need to get over to get into the bed. Also, toilet would be hard for a handicapped person to use.
Small tv in the bedroom, no local channels and no chairs to sit on to watch unless you're getting into the bed. I would have preferred the tv in the living room.
Only one window opened in the bedroom, the other window the screen was ripped.
AC was large floor model in the bedroom and was noisy.
No privacy sitting outdoors and the view of the lake is very minimal.
Broken blinds in the living room, didn't close all the way down. As another reviewer wrote, it is dark over the sink/stove area. Needs a light of some kind.
The plus side. Unique cute cabin, very clean and had a well stocked kitchen with plates etc. and complimentary bathroom items if you need them. Great location it's close to town and many deer come to visit. They loved the apples I brought. Slicing them was easier for them to eat.

Great vacation
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location and perfect size for a family get away! We have family that stays in the cottages next door and finally decided to book our own. So glad we booked this one! Plenty of room for sleeping, cooking and hanging out. Close to the water, shopping and fun! Would def book again!

Weekend Away
