This is our family go to when we go out of town to visit family and grandkids. We’ve always enjoyed this hotel. It’s clean and convenient. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s nice to see familiar faces when you stay somewhere often. However, this trip was a disappointing. We arrived late in the evening to a room that did not smell good at all. The bathroom was a bit messy. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut, the toilet overflowed for no reason, the carpet was pulled up a bit in front of the bathroom door. We didn’t get moved until the next day even after alerting the front desk. Management was called to see what compensation would be given and she only gave us a $30 discount off of $120. We had to have the window open just to stay in the room because it smelled SO BAD. I sprayed my expensive perfume so we weren’t smelling mildew and dirty dog and whatever else the smell was. Very disappointing for as much as we stay and send people that way. Plus the last two times we also referred family to stay when we were there. We manage properties so when asked where a good place to stay in Saint Helens is we always mention this hotel. I’m not saying I wouldn’t refer somebody there again, but I am saying that I will let people know my experience. I manage. This was unacceptable.

Amazing staff. Comfortable beds. The pool…ok the pool is the cleanest I think I’ve ever been in. And it’s heated to boot!
