I must say i'm 66 years old and traveled around the whole world and expect the best and this hotel especially for a Best Western really surprised me. Found my home away from home here in St Ignace. The only thing negative I can say about the place was typical breakfast buffet but i expected that

The property was old but it was maintained very well. The room was clean and smelled very good. Staff were supper friendly and helpful. Towels were changed daily and beds were made when asked.
Breakfast was great for being included in the price. The only thing that I would advise is to replace the carpet in the rooms. The carpet in the room was old.
The location was very close to Doc. to Mackinac Island and Castle Rock.
This would be perfect location for summertime travelers. The outdoor pool looked awesome, but we didn’t get to use, since it was closed due to the season. Indoor pool was ok. There was a fire pit which kids enjoyed a lot. View was beautiful from our balcony.
I will stay here again if I return to this area.

The Michigan building was nothing like the website pictures. It was like an old motel that was somewhat renovated. We use Expedia all of the time and this motel was a disappointment.
