The lodge pricing was competitive and had a convenient location for the Mackinac Island ferry crossing.

Room was clean. We had an OK 2 night stay. There was nothing spectacular or real bad. Only complaint was the low water pressure. The water was very soft, so had to be careful to not use too much soap when washing hair.

The rooms smelled so bad. We tried to air them out but it did not help. The sheets smelled of mold. The room needs serious maintenance. The breakfast was ok. I would advise to stay somewhere else and pay the extra money for a franchise hotel. If not sleep in your car.
