Modern and characterful and presented to the highest of standards, Little Coombe is an attractive detached cottage enjoying truly magnificent panoramic coastal views from most of the rooms. The accommodation boasts a wealth of traditional features and comprises, entrance hall, dual aspect sitting room with central fire place and majestic views, a beautifully appointed kitchen/breakfast room, cloakroom, two bedrooms and family bathroom on the ground floor with a delightful master bedroom on the first floor boasting wonderful views across the beach and the ocean.
Outside, Little Coombe has everything guests will need for a fantastic holiday with a number of outside terraces to enjoy alfresco dining and all with beautiful views in a truly peaceful setting. There is a decked area at the front of the property and to the side is a terrace garden with an outside patio area and where guests can enjoy the barbecue and sun loungers. To the rear of the property is a garden with raised flower borders and a garden shed where guests can store all their beach items including surf boards and wet suits.
The location of Little Coombe is absolutely fantastic with Carbis Bay beach and its golden sands just a short 5 minute walk down a quiet and picturesque footpath which can found right on your doorstep. Also a very short walk away is the village train station in Carbis Bay so guests can enjoy the experience of St Ives but not have the parking headache, the 3 minute train ride is one of the most beautiful and dramatic in the UK along the bay into St Ives.
In terms of parking, there is a private driveway to the front of the property and there is plenty of space to accommodate two large cars.

A home from home
A perfect base for us to explore the local area. Beautifully clean and well maintained throughout. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped with a lovely relaxing outdoor space (complete with sneaky views of the sea). We made the most of the body boards in the shed - very useful! Perfectly located for 5ish minute walk to Carbis Bay beach and a walk or train to St Ives. Steep hills but the pain is over very quickly! I would highly recommend Little Coombe.

We had a wonderful 6 night stay in Little Coombe. Fabulous location, 5- 10 minute walk to Carbis Bay Beach, or 3 minutes on train to St Ives. Had everything we needed, felt really cosy and enjoyed waking to those Fabulous sea views. Enjoyed my breakfast on patio overlooking sea every morning! Can't wait to return. Little Coombe is a fantastic property, it has everything anyone would need to make a stay in Carbis Bay and surroundings very comfortable. The proximity to golden/white sandy beaches and the lovely St.Ives is right at the top of the list. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely want to visit again in the future. The location definitely improved our fitness!

Just back from a week at this property . I can honestly say we didnt want to come home . The property itself is amazing and so close to be able to travel around the whole of the south of cornwall . Communication with the owner was spot on . Thank you Brian for allowing people to stay at your wonderfull house . Also thanks again to Paul for your help on the first night when we couldnt work out the hob lol ... Hopefully will be back to stay again .

Lovely property.
Excellent location and easy access despite the Cornish lanes! Very well equipped and furnished with numerous lovely pictures on the walls. Outside area fine with plenty of seating space and a partial sea view. Easy walk down to the lovely beach....not quite so easy back up the hill! St Ives an easy hour's stroll away. All in all a great success and, apart from a small bathroom with rather difficult shower I'd have no hesitation in recommending the property and location.

This property is in the perfect position for walking between beach, train station and food provisions, with a regular bus to Penzance too. It’s lovely and quiet at night, and has a lovely patio to enjoy breakfast in the sun. Well supplied with BBQ, all kitchen equipment and thoughtful touches of blankets, games, DVDs, books . Space for 2 cars. We had a great holiday for a family of 5 with 3 teenagers, swimming in the safe bay, and hopping in the car 30 minutes away at Porthtowan for the surf. Highly recommended.

A wonderful Week
We spent the most idyllic week at Carbis Bay we could ever have hoped to spend. Everything about it was so easy and relaxing. The property is brilliantly equipped with everything you could need, to at least for our young family of my wife and I and two young boys. It is also wonderfully positioned, next to two paths that get you down to the beautiful and quiet Carbis Bay Beach within 5-10 minutes walk. The train station is a 10-15 minute walk away making trips into the much busier St Ives with all the places to eat and drink or catch boats to seal island etc. just as easy as a day on Carbis Bay beach. It is just one stop to St Ives and a beautiful 4 minute train journey it really is. There is even a large Tesco for all the supplies you may need a 5-10 walk away. The property itself is really well appointed and has everything you would expect from a modern home, for to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I can't recommend the area and the property enough. We had a wonderful time there and will definitely be going back!

St Ives is a great holiday destination and Carbis Bay beach is gorgeous, the holiday rental was ideally located 5 minutes walk from the beach and the train station which takes you into St Ives, or a 20 minutes walk along the coastal path into St Ives. The holiday rental was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and well maintained. There are numerous tourist attractions that are nearby such as Lands End and St Micheals Mount both worth a visit. Lots of nice places to eat out in st Ives, highly recommend the Thai Resturant which is on the sea from in St Ives.
