Beautiful Views on the Quiet Side
Publié le 22 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe views are hands down insane! You won’t find those kind of views anywhere else on the island. Make sure to wake up early to catch the sunrise.
The mattress was hard and I believe does need to be replaced along with a couple pillows and the comforter was scratchy. There was no soap in the bathroom pump. We wanted to spend time down by the pool but there was no umbrella for shade. Small things but little things make a difference especially a good bed when you’re there all week.
We didn’t make it to the hot tub because it was just too warm. Wish we could’ve thought the views would’ve been amazing to sit there with a cocktail.
There were multiple rooms to stay so it would be perfect for multiple families. Sit out on the back deck with a good book and you’ll be in heaven all day!

Thank You for choosing Suite Papaya for your 5 day stay with us in Coral Bay. Yes, we are very blessed to have such awesome views which never get old. We are so very sorry you found the relatively new firm mattress with a topper to not me your needs. We have many repeat guests and have never been told the mattress is need of replacement. Additionally, we regret you did not find more pillows in the day room to supplement the 4 (2 King and 2 standard) Beauty Rest pillows on the King bed. It was our understanding, when we provided you a fleeces blanket, at your request, your discomfort with the cotton voile lightweight quilt and cotton sheets was resolved. We are pleased you found the additional hand and facial soap in the vanity since the soap dispenser was empty. W wil make a concerted effort to ensure all amenities are fully restocked for each guest's pleasure. It is unfortunate we are unaware of the need for an umbrella at the pool. These can be found in the storage box next to the grill on the pool deck. Again, had we known of any need to make your stay the best we certainly would have promptly responded to any request. We appreciate your kind words about the location and your feedback so we can ensure all guest have a flawless stay with us.

Best View on Island
Publié le 5 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThe views are way better than pictured! Ron & Sue are amazing, so helpful & friendly. We enjoyed seeing Thelma (sweetest dog ever). The breeze is wonderful. We felt comfortable the whole time. Never needed the air conditioner. If you are looking for a heavenly oasis this is your place! 💜 The location is awesome. We were close enough to north, east & south shore beaches. The property is so beautiful! You will not want to leave each day. We saw gorgeous sunrises, and sunsets. This place is so peaceful. Lots of gorgeous plants and trees, humming birds and flowers. They have the best books available for you to browse about St. John’s as well. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us.

Unforgettable Week in St. John.

The property was absolutely perfect with amazing views, a convenient and relaxing location and ideal hosts who enhanced our stay with their kindness and willingness to share their love of the island. We hope to return soon and would not think of staying anywhere else.

Great location for quick access to the beaches and and easy drive to Cruz for some wonderful restaurants. Property was exactly as represented.

Best Romantic Getaway
Publié le 25 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayThis property was perfect for a weeklong getaway. It’s quiet and the views were absolutely breathtaking. We had everything we needed and picked up whatever we were missing from the small market/store located a few minutes away. Even though it was our first trip to St. John’s, we quickly figured out how to get around. It was pretty easy (25 minutes or less) to get to several beaches and downtown for meals. If you chose to stay in, there’s still so much to do. We enjoyed the views, took lots of pictures and lounged around the pool. It was pretty much the perfect vacation spot and we’d highly recommend it.

July on the Island

Ron and Sue made sure everything was ready for arrival and were quick to respond to any questions. We loved the quiet, meals on the decks, and late afternoon swims in the pool. We especially appreciated the care they put into their landscaping, composting, and creating a tropical home.

Papaya Moon

The location of the house made it perfect for exploring the north side beaches and east side of St. John. Hopefully be back soon!! Thank you, Ron and Sue!

Amazing views!

Everything was very clean, and the check in process was easy and simple. Ron and Sue (and Thelma) are lovely hosts and provided great tips on the local restaurants and beaches!

First time in St John
Publié le 9 févr. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe had a FANTASTIC time at Papayamoon and will be recommending it to friends as well! I hope to come back to enjoy it again. Our hosts were very amenable and gave us lots of interesting helps and information. Only wish we could have extended our stay!
We had amazing views, saw all sorts of wildlife and the beaches were great!
Of the two places we stayed while on this trip - this one was far-superior.
Loved it! Highly recommend.

Thank you for the kind remarks about your stay at Papaya Moon Villa - Suite Papaya. You certainly made the best use of your vacation on St John by splitting your time with stays near Cruz Bay and then with us in Coral Bay . Yes, Coral Bay is the country quiet side of St John and has plenty of "wildlife" with its roaming sheep, goats and donkeys. We look forward to your return and hope it is a longer stay. It was great to host fellow midwesterners.
