Great getaway in east St John

Wonderful Anniversary Getaway
Posted Jun. 6, 2024 on HomeAwayThe Lameshur Cottage guest house was exactly what we had hoped it would be. It’s away from the hustle of Cruz Bay, nestled in the mountain side near Coral Bay. There are so many cool hikes and beaches close by as well access to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world on the north shores within a short drive. With a kitchen, appliances and a quick trip to the local grocery store only minutes away we saved a ton on meals. When we felt like going out to eat, Skinny Legs quickly became our favorite local diner. The hosts Bill and Emily were extremely pleasant and accommodating. Guaranteed you won’t find a better bang for your buck in the VI. Would absolutely stay here again if I‘m ever fortunate enough to return to St. John.

Cottagey wonderfulness

Super location so close to Great and Little Lameshur Bays, and to Salt Pond so made visiting these locations during our stay a breeze. Very clean and well accommodated place with lots and lots to make your stay convenient. Nice communication with owners prior to stay.

Cabin peaceful location
Posted Mar. 12, 2024 on HomeAwayGreat studio cabin that was comfortable, peaceful and had everything we needed for our week. Bill and Emily were great hosts, fun to talk with and offered suggestions on everything from beaches for snorkeling to places to eat. Walking distance to Salt Pond Bay and if you’re up to the trek: Groupon that had the best sea life and Kiddle the second best. We took our jeep to both and were often the only people there! It is Not a resort or a hotel it is a remote cabin with a glamping vibe!

Cute and Cozy Cabin

Tree house!!

Loved this cottage! It had everything we needed and more. Me and my Husband really enjoyed our stay. Note that it is quite far from town. Totally my fault that I didn’t do more research on St. John and I found out there’s only 3 main roads that take 30-45 min to drive if you want to go get groceries, eat out, or go to the pharmacy like we had to do. As well as most beaches are far but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless 😊 I definitely recommend staying here.

St John on the Quiet Side
Posted May 2, 2023 on HomeAwayCute studio cottage with all the amenities. Rustic and close to the National Park. Not a villa in site! Walking distance to Salt Pond Bay and Lameshure Bays and the Petroglyph trail to Reef Bay. Very sweet and quiet and away from all the hubbub of Cruz Bay. Miss Lucy's and Auqua Bistro are a few minutes away. All the best of St John.
