Publié le 10 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe host was a great guy. The room needed a magnifying mirror, hair dryer, and a blanket for the bed. We had trouble with the TV. It was unfortunate that it rained for 36 hours and we had water on the floor. The water heater wasn't hot the first day. The roads were horrible in Antigua.

Karla and her husband seems friendly and nice!
It's unfortunate that we had to have a rain storm during the time Karla was staying, they were staying on the third floor and so with strong winds some water was able to seeping under the door the other floors was not affected, we did take care of it without have to put up the hurricane shutters and we are sorry for the inconvenience,
I take note of your suggestions about having magnifying mirror and I just want future guest to know we have mirrors just not a magnifying one, you also suggest blankets! well we don't have any blankets we didn't tick it off on the Amenities, what we did tick on the Amenities is Hair dryer and we do have hair dryer they were both in one room so technically you are right there was none in your room but to future guest I stay at the property hair dryer is on the Amenities and you don't see one ask me about it I will surely get it for you , as soon as you notify me about the hot water it was fix it was just to change 2 AA batteries to ignite the propane heater, you said TV was given trouble well each room have 2 Television! the TV was not the problem it was the cable company and they take care of it, yes the the roads are bad in Antigua that's the failure of the government! that's why we offer a 4 WD Jeep for just $45 USD per day to deal with the bad roads ask about the jeep when you are booking! , and we will surely take all of Karla suggestions into consideration for a better stay for future guests

Publié le 8 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayZeus is a great host! Our group consisted of two adults and two 18 year old boys. It was our first trip to Antigua. He picked us up at the airport and stopped at a well-stocked grocery store on the way to his place. We had planned to rent Zeus' car and drive to the places/beaches we wanted to visit. After noticing that most of the streets are not named and other than the larger highways, the roads are rough, we chose to take his offer and ask him to drive us where we wanted to go. Zeus made himself available to us each time we asked. We were there over New Year's Eve and we would not have know about the local music and celebration at Shirley Heights if Zeus hadn't suggested it. His knowledge of restaurants was good too, one of our best meals was at a small local place near a beach that we wouldn't have know about without him. His place is nice, and the views are spectacular! Since there were 4 of us, we used both the 2nd and 3rd floors. Both floors have great views of the harbor and surrounding neighborhoods as well as the hills/mountains of the area. The benefit of the 3rd floor is in addition to what you see on the 2nd floor, you have a clear view of the cruise ships that came into the main port. We only had one issue while there, the hot water heater was not providing enough hot water. He contacted the plumber and I'm sure he has the problem fixed now. Antigua is one of the most beautiful places we have visited and Zeus made our stay wonderful!

Sue and her husband Bill with their son and friend where great guests and they leave my property clean and in good condition I would definitely recommend them to other hosts, they where super friendly and nice always inviting me to eat with them when ever they are having dinner and they also was very understanding with me have problem with the hot water heater all in all I would host them again, oh and thanks for the extra tip for transporting you guys!.

I was returning home, after being away for several years, Zeus was amazing, picked us up, took us to get groceries, gave great advice about the island, the accommodations were beautiful even though we were out most of time, I would book here every single time!

Great property with great views, Zeus was more than a super host and always a phone call away. I loved the privacy and the fact that the home is in the center of everything yet tucked away enough to allow a peaceful and quiet nights sleep. The pictures do not serve this property justice...way better in person. I'm glad I booked it and will return again GOD willing

4 person stay at my place Dewayne Hill and his wife and there friends they were great guests and very friendlyI would definitely host them again and I would definitely recommend them to other hosts

Great Experience!

Mr Zeus was very attentive, helpful, and respectful... a true gentleman. We would highly recommend Cook's Estate to those who are not attracted to an all inclusive resort but to those travelers who yearn to experience the real beauty of Antigua.

Nick lasky and his wife stayed at my place for one week , Nick and his wife is very friendly and nice they leave my property clean and in good order they also rent my Jeep and also return my Jeep in good shape, I would definitely recommend this wonderful and caring couple to other host .
