Be ready to clean

1) an absolutely filthy waste can. Spent 20 minutes scrubbing it myself.
2) no toilet paper….. really !
3) Dirty floors and baseboards
4) Dirty bathrooms. 5) Filthy stovetop.

Very Relaxing
Posted Jul. 27, 2023 on HomeAwayThe house is very accommodating with 4 bedrooms. The back porch is screened in so you can watch the lake and not have to worry about bugs. The concrete in front was perfect for the kids to ride their bikes. The pier is nice also.

Posted Jun. 18, 2023 on HomeAwayOverall impression was fine we’ll be back; However we have suggestions. Cleaning crew needs to not leave towels drying in dryer. Must wash and dry bath mats, they were dirty and wet. Kitchen sink and counters were not thoroughly cleaned. Porch furniture was dirty. The 2nd master bedroom really needs a TV. How about some towel hooks in all the bathrooms.

Lake Bruin at it's best...
Posted May 8, 2023 on HomeAwayThis was the perfect place for a group of 10 old college friends to gather and enjoy a few relaxing days on the lake! The house was very nicely appointed with clean linens and towels for everyone and almost everything you might need in the kitchen. Although it was missing a few "staple" type items (e.g.- dishwasher pods, sugar/sweetener packets for coffee, salt & pepper), we got lucky one of our friends came fully prepared. Overall a great house for a long weekend!

Nice place & beautiful sunrises
Posted Dec. 26, 2022 on HomeAwayThis was a nice place for a few days stay. Would enjoy trying it out when we could actually be outside and enjoy the lake. We were there for the coldest days of the decade - Christmas 2022. The clean home had almost everything we needed. Would recommend adding towel hooks, a cheese grater and kitchen scissors. Thanks - it’s a Christmas we will remember.
