MEPS Stay

If it were not for the Restaurant & Bar Staff and their AMAZING customer service, this place would not get negative stars. Place is in the middle of a large construction zone, you have to park 2 blocks away and WALK to the hotel. It's completely rundown and in need of a major overhaul. Rooms and equipment are hanging on by a thread. Front desk staff are just there for a paycheck, and it shows.

All I can say is ROACHES. I woke up every morning to roaches crawling around in the bathroom sink. There was also NO PARKING on site, and I had to walk 10 minutes (driving around for an hour in search of a lot on a Saturday night), in the freezing cold to park my car and pay $40 to a private lot far away.

Everyone that works there was amazing and very nice. The parking is absolutely horrendous. There’s no on site parking and the parking lots they suggest is very small. We also ate at the restaurant that was out of a lot of of items but the burger was delicious. The room was dated but the pillows and bed were both pretty comfy. The breakfast they offer is a total joke and half of it it was out or cold. But the staff were definitely working hard and very nice.

Refrigerator didn’t work, they changed it out, shower didn’t work, called manager that morning, I checked out at 7am, and he said must have been user error. I pulled on the handle, turned it, I’ve only used thousands of shower handles over the years and never had a problem with it. They wouldn’t even give a discount to their guests that encounter a problem like I did. I was only in St.Louis for the night and was bothered I couldn’t shower before catching my return flight back to Florida

We came in on a thursday night ans was advised of construction and a nearby secured parking lot. I went to said nearby parking lot it was anything but secure and had a sign denying any liability of anything The place was dark and had broken glass everywhere.... Holiday Inn...you can do better for your customers Very disappointing
