Beautiful property with tons of amenities
One of the best vacation houses I’ve ever stayed in. The outdoor areas are comfortable with plenty of seating for all, we used the pool every single day and it was amazing. Fantastic snorkeling right in the ocean down the steps. We felt like the house was enough of an exciting vacation we had several days of just hanging out there. Be sure to follow the tips the owners send you on beach recs. Several amazing beaches within 20-30 minutes of the house. We thought the location was perfect as it is in the middle of the island which was great since the best beaches are on the west side and the city is east side. It is nice to have the resort food and cafe close by. The area is safe and quiet. We had 8 total adults and all the beds and bedrooms were very comfortable. AC in the bedrooms only but the ocean breeze and sliding doors keeps things mostly cool. The house has plenty of extras like a cooler, snorkeling gear, pool floats. We had almost everything we needed. Just be sure to bring your own soap and shampoo. It was great having a property manager (Frisco) just a message away. Be sure to rent a car, you will need one. Would recommend this house to any group! We had the best time and hope to be back again sometime.

Sisters Visit of Four
We loved the property, pool, ocean view, and anemities. The kitchen is fully stocked (drip coffee/coffee filters, nepresso-type maker, and tea kettle, snorkeling gear, noodles/floats, bug and sun spray ). A few tips: 1. Make sure to open up every drawer, we bought items that we later found, 2. The oven can also be used as a microwave (there's a manual), 3. Bring personal toiletries (shampoo, bodywash, etc). Our only disappointment was to hear from the manager the evening prior to our departure telling us our check out was changed to 10am vs the listed 11am, so the cleaners could clean the place prior to the next guests arriving. This required us to change our morning plans and was a bit disappointing. If you stay, please say hello to Cliff and Marie, the local visiting iguanas who daily visited us. Ciao!

Mixed group vacay in paradise
We stayed for 8 nights in this villa early July 2024. It was exactly as listed and perfect for our needs. Each bedroom was adequately equipped and the beds were comfortable. The full size refrigerator and freezer were great for keeping extra ice and all the food we needed. Kitchen very well equipped, we hired a private chef for brunch, cocktail hour and dinner and even they were impressed! Each bedroom having its own bathroom was perfect, never an issue with warm/hot water. The A/C worked great at night in each bedroom, during the day the cross breeze in the main living area was enough. The outdoor area/pool was nice and added to the experience. As we were leaving we all said we would come back. We did try the pizza delivery and the beach restaurant, as well as picked up some ice down at the resort which was very convenient.

MOST amazing accommodations in a beautiful country!
We (speaking for myself, my husband AND the other couple we traveled with) were amazed at the interior of this home, the beautiful landscaping of the property, the location of the property in the Coral Estates community, AND the expansive views of the Caribbean Sea as soon as we stepped through the front door! The description seriously does not do this vacation home justice! Everything was super clean and offered an abundance of everything you could possibly need while traveling in from another country. We were quite impressed with the quality of everything in the home as well, from the furnishings down to everything offered in the kitchen. We are already talking about when we can return...the next time we plan to spend more time staying put rather than venturing out. With multiple outdoor living spaces, a beautiful pool, easy private direct access into the sea to snorkle and so much more...we can't imagine being able to find a better place just to sit back and enjoy your vacation surroundings. I must add that the owner (Ireen) was extremely easy to communicate with and always quick with emailed questions. The property manager (Friso) was also a pleasure to meet and was immediately responsive when needed (only necessary once). 10 out 10 all the way around for our entire experience!!!

Beautiful Property
Our family just returned from our stay at Ireen and Hendrik’s villa in Coral Estates, Curacao. Every aspect of this property is exactly as described. From the lovely gardens, well fitted and equipped kitchen, comfy spacious ensuite bedrooms, to the exquisite outside patios (yes multiple patios!) and pool, we luxuriated in the Caribbean sun! Thank you to Friso for graciously greeting us and also sending us on our way (sad to leave!). We would definitely come again; Curacao is a lovely island!

First parents getaway post-baby
My husband and I had the house all to ourselves as we enjoyed our first trip away after having our son almost two years ago. Everything about this villa was amazing! It was our first time to Curacao and the island (and it's locals) was very welcoming. A few tips that a fellow newcomer might find helpful... 1. The villa is about a 40 minute drive from the capital of Willemstad - if you don't plan to do a ton of shopping or eat out every night. The drive isn't bad at all! 2. Our favorite beaches were Cas Abao (20 minute drive from villa), Porto Mari (15 minute drive from villa), and Dabadooi (8 minute drive from villa). 3. Rent a car! 4. A couple of items you may want to pack because the villa doesn't have them: washcloths/loofas, big beach cups like a Stanley or Yeti, lemon squeezer. 5. For groceries, make the trip into Willemstad for the Centrum Market....it's far better than the ones closer to the villa. Do this for your big haul if you're staying for 4+ days. 6. Download an app that can translate dutch manuals. A lot of the appliances were difficult to use because they were European and the manuals weren't in English. 7. My only tip for the villa owners is to provide better directions for the ride from the airport. What should've been a 20 minute drive turned into an hour. Getting to the "neighborhood" was easy, but finding the villa was really difficult without a map of the property.

Amazing property
Everything about this house was wonderful - great location, amazing views, perfect set up for the family. They thought of so many of our needs, bug spray, snorkels and masks and fins were there (although we brought ours), pool floats, cooler & ice packs, etc. The property was spotless, the outdoor seating areas were numerous. The ac in the bedrooms was great, but it did get a little warm in the living spaces if you had the doors shut at night if it was buggy. I would absolutely come here again and recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful villa with amazing hosts!
We just completed our stay at this beautiful home with our son, daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons, ages 12 and 14. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our one week stay here - in fact, we felt like we were on vacation for a much longer time. The home is so modern and clean. And being right on the sea, the patio, infinity pool and the villa’s 4 king bedroom ensuites are Ahhhh-mazing. In addition to the relaxing ambience, we were immersed in the beauty surrounding us here. We experienced watching hummingbirds, iguanas, hermit crabs and the sight of flamingos soaring by. The hosts are very gracious and their property manager was very responsive. Thank you, Irene and Hendrik!

Comfortable, elegant and well located
This was our first time staying in Coral Estate. When we first contacted the owners about the house, they invited us over to see the place. Arriving this year for our vacation, it was even better than we remembered. It was immaculately clean and everything worked well. This was our fifth trip to Curaçao and we have stayed in town in the past. This location was ideally located between town and the western beaches….35 min in either direction. I snorkeled a couple times, but it is apparently a windy time of year and the weather was choppy. It can be done but not for faint of heart. The beds are super comfy and the showers are excellent, with thermostatic controls so you can easily save water. Constant breeze made AC unnecessary except at night for sleeping. The room cooled down fast and stayed very comfortable set at 26C. We’ve already booked for next year and can’t wait to return. Thank you so much!

Our favorite villa ever!
The property and villa are amazing! So many perfect spaces to hang out and enjoy the wonderful ocean view and absolutely everything you need inside as well. The infinity pool is SO perfect! The air in the bedrooms made for great night sleeping and was much appreciated because it’s definitely hot! Opening up the huge sliding doors to feel the breeze was great. We loved everything so much we want to come back asap, especially now that we know our way around the island. We will be missing this place until we can return again!

You won't want to leave this beautiful oasis!
We can't say enough about how wonderful this villa is. It's absolutely gorgeous, well appointed, comfortable, and clean! The outside living area was wonderful with lots of sitting areas, an infinity pool and spectacular views of the ocean and sunsets with nature all around. The snorkeling at the bottom of the stairs was just as good if not better than other places on the island. The location was perfect; it is close to the airport, and in between Willemstad and the beautiful beaches along the coast heading north. Coral Estates is a luxury property with beautiful homes and includes several upscale places to eat and drink. My only recommendation is to bring extra toilet paper and bar soap or shower gel. With that said, we'll definitely stay here again should we return to Curacao!

10/10, Literally would rent again
This villa was *exactly* what the five of us were looking for when we were planning an extended trip. The property is in excellent shape and is exactly as described. The hosts and the property manager were unfailingly helpful. The hosts were willing to adjust the dates of our stay when our plans changed, and were willing to answer two seemingly odd questions. The property manager was flexible when we encountered some challenges getting across the island (out of anyone's control) and gave us an excellent introduction to how to best use the features of the property and the air conditioners. Personally, I've got some complex medical problems, so I was thrilled that the beds were soft and that scented products were not used when cleaning or when doing laundry. My partner was thrilled that the she could swim in a healthy, vibrant reef every day. One friend had to handle a work crisis, and appreciated the fast wifi. Another enjoyed reconnecting with her (lapsed) yoga practice. We appreciated being able to cook for ourselves, and being able to order pizza on nights when we weren't in the mood to cook or go out to a restaurant beyond the boundary of the Estates. The Estates also had a lovely spa that each of us was able to visit; we all had positive experiences with the treatments we received there, and with the time we spent using the spa facilities afterwards. As the title says, 10/10, literally would rent again.

Absolute Paradise
I stayed one week with my family of three and can't wait to go back! Let's start with the long driveway that leads to this outstanding property overlooking the ocean. The house is clean, recently updated and nicely decorated. The kitchen is spacious and modern. Very well equipped with everything you need. The bedrooms were a good size with very comfortable beds. Plenty of closet space. The pool is a generous size and it overlooks the most breathtaking view we've ever experienced. It felt like heaven. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the pool with the amazing trade winds. We fell in love with the island and can't wait to go back. Must try the ribs from VIP Grill (food truck) about 15 mins from the house. Jeremi beach was a gem! Two minor suggestions: the pool had a few missing tiles and we did miss not having a dryer but everything else was perfection. We were so sad to leave but hope to retun to Salty Sea in 2025!!!

Fabulous home and location
We will definitely stay in this home again! The pictures do not do this property justice. The views are amazing, we were able to snorkel on the property! The home is relaxing and the perfect size for our party of 6. Coffee outside in the morning was priceless with the breeze and the views. The check in and check out was easy and a nice touch to have the property manager meet us at the home and show us around. Loved our stay and so happy we extended it!

Gorgeous villa with stunning views
There are not enough words to describe how beautiful the view is from this gorgeous villa. There are plenty of sitting areas outside, all have a stunning view. There are hummingbirds flying all around and iguanas roaming the property. The owners were very helpful in answering any questions I had beforehand and Friso the property manager is very kind and accommodating. This house literally has everything you need: snorkel gear, beach towels/chairs, pool floats, a cooler box and they even have outlet adapters for my US electronics. All you really need to bring is yourself, swimsuit and LOTS of reef friendly sunscreen. The house itself was very clean and comfortable for myself, husband and friend. Each room has a small wardrobe with clotheshangers. I also appreciated that there are not a lot of house rules. Basically just conserve energy best you can by turning off the lights and A/C when you leave the room or the house-easy enough. I liked the fact that there was a washing machine. No dryer-but hang your clothes outside on the clothesline no problem. The house is a bit of a drive from downtown Willemstad, give yourself plenty of time if you have any excursions planned. But nearby is plenty to do-Playa Porto Marie was maybe 5 min away and Daiibooi beach. We liked Porto Marie the best. I didn’t get to snorkel from the house-waters were a bit choppy for my liking. If you are considering other places to stay on the island-stop now and rent Villa Salty Sea! I would 1000% recommend!

Relaxing stay
My husband and I booked a last minute getaway at Villa Salty. The booking and arrival was smooth and easy. The pictures and description accurately described the property. The property is obviously pretty new and and is in great condition. Everything was in great working order. The shower was really nice, the beds really comfortable. Everything was fresh and clean. The garden well maintained and beautiful. We mostly hung out on the back patio, enjoying the trade winds and the sound of the crashing waves. I really enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool right along the ocean. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us - I would gladly recommend the property!

Gorgeous Ocean View
Everything was absolutely perfect! The infinity pool, the ocean view and easy water access! We spent several days just enjoying the amenities of the house. We snorkeled and scuba dived right in front of the house! The reef was pristine! We were able to rent scuba tanks from the dive shop at Coral Estates. It could not have been easier! Curaçao has always been a favorite of ours, but this house made it a stellar experience! For those looking for restaurants to enjoy while visiting the island we highly recommend De Visserij Piscadera. The fish and shrimp were amazing. We also enjoyed Mom’s Kitchen at Plaza Bieu for great local dishes. The fish sauce was spectacular! We will definitely be back! Thank you for hosting our family!

Phenomenal Oceanfront Experience
Villa Salty Sea is exactly as it is pictured, but better! It was fully stocked with all the necessary dishes, towels, and other amenities such as snorkel equipment. We appreciated the gated community it was in which had security patrolling throughout the day. They were very helpful in providing an escort to the property and directions when we needed them. The driveway was also gated and secure. Be careful driving through the community and island, though. It felt to us Americans that Curacao drivers took turns too fast and did not leave room for other cars on the road. The property is far from the hustle and bustle of Willemstad which was exactly what we were looking for. As a result, it's a 20 minute drive to the airport and grocery store. There are also not many nearby restaurants outside Karakter which is in the gated community and the food there was okay. We drove around the whole island to find the best beaches, snorkel spots and stop by the scenic overlooks. Grote Knip was a beautiful beach but crowded and far. Playa Porto Marie was the best beach and it was only 5 mins away. They had chairs, a restaurant, bar, and snorkeling. A disappointment about the beaches overall - they charge for chairs and for the use of the bathrooms. Take cash with you. The best walk-out snorkeling was at Villa Salty Sea. When the seas were calm we were able to get in and see a wonderful variety and a plethora of fish. Ireen was responsive to any requests. Their property manager, Friso was kind and accommodating. Our week was relaxing and quiet surrounded by a beautiful view and grounds. For future travelers, you can't go wrong here but before you book inquire about the status of the house being built next door. There was no construction activity while we were there but I could see how it might disrupt an otherwise tranquil stay.
