St Joe!
Publié le 14 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe wanted a place to stay while we fished the St Joe. The location is secluded and quiet and were even had deers visit the property during our stay.
The host was very communicative and available and made everything easy.
Just don’t use Waze to get there! Apple Maps gives a better driving experience due to its recommended drive path. 🙂

The Shadow of the St. Joe National Forest

After having spent the summers of 1957-1961 working on the St. Joe National Forest (renamed the Idaho Panhandle National Forest, except for District 5, Potlatch that was absorbed by the Cleaarwater National Forest.

Wonderful home

As part of our standard procedure, we ensure that each room is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every guest's departure. This includes the complete replacement of all bedding to ensure the highest level of hygiene.
Regarding the issue you mentioned about lice, we take this matter seriously and acted promptly upon receiving your message. We followed our strict cleaning protocols, which involved extensive heat treatment on all pillows and the replacement of bed coverings. Our thorough research confirmed that lice cannot be transferred without direct head-to-head contact or the sharing of personal items like hairbrushes. We can confidently say that there was no source of lice within the home that could have led to the situation you described.
It's also important to consider that during your visit, you were spending time with your family, which might have involved close interactions, such as sharing personal items or sitting in close proximity. We cannot guarantee the practices of external environments, and it's possible that the exposure to lice could have occurred during your time away from our property.
