Great for the budget

The guest beds aren’t the best and super low to the ground we had to stack the mattress from the 2 guest rooms for more comfort/ height.
The WiFi wasn’t working when we arrived despite following the instructions and the customer service agents sent us the same login until we got in touch with Cydnee, who by the way was awesome in response.
they did mention that they are actively keeping up on pest control because we would find dead insects everywhere.
Overall really affordable for the price.

Thanks for the review. The beds are newer Ikea beds. We understand that everybody has their own preference on the softness of the mattress or bed height. Our mattresses are newer Ikea mattresses, and they are medium firm. Most of our guests are happy with the beds and mattresses. Glad we could ge the internet back online. Regarding pests, we have the house regularly treated for pests like ants etc, but they will occasionally get through regardless. This area is close to tropical and they live outside just the cicadas, so it is impossible to eliminate them completely.

Great little house
Publié le 16 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property was great! We have 5 adults and 1 baby and it was just the right size. It's a ranch with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Minutes away from the beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. Please note - the 2 queen size beds are very low to the ground. They are probably 18 inches off the floor. I had planned on taking one of the queen beds to let my daughter, her husband, and baby take the king size bed but I recently had hip surgery and there was no way that I could get up and down with the bed that low. Also, when you first drive up to the property the neighborhood looks a little sketchy, but we had no problems out of any neighbors or anyone. It was nice and quiet. The back yard is a little smaller and more run down than the pictures showed, but this house was at a great price so that didn't matter to us that much.

Our mattresses are newer Ikea mattresses, and they are medium firm. Most of our guests are happy with the beds and mattresses. The neighbors are amazing. It is a great quiet area close to everything. Our lot is a corner lot and the fenced backyard is smaller than the open front yard. During the summer, the backyard lawn can get pretty dry due to the watering restrictions.

Cleaniness and household not good - internet access not working
Publié le 17 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house itself weren’t too bad, but the level of cleanliness and general maintenance were not good. We had to have the cleaners come again after we checked in. The refrigerator was dirty. The oven was so bad we didn’t want to use it. The fans in the rooms were really dirty and the blinders all over the house hadn’t been cleaned for a long period of time. The chairs in the kitchen were really dirty but got cleaned up at the extra visit we got from the house manager. One of the electrical switches in the master was really loose and moved.
The waste bin in the kitchen was really dirty when we came - we cleaned it up ourselves.
The backyard was there but leaves were all over. The sun beds looked really worn out.
The bed in one of the bedrooms were like one foot above floor level and the mattress were really no good.
We never got the internet to work despite the fact it didn’t work when we arrived and reported it to the house manager.

As our previous reviews indicate, we usually have very high ratings for cleanliness.Our cleaners are human and it is possible they may not get it perfect all the time. Because, as you mentioned, they did come back and fix all those issues, I think the rating you gave is very low and out of line with what you received - a re-cleaned 3 bed 2 bath home just 8 minutes from the beaches. Yes, we have trees in our yard, so leaves on the ground should be expected. We do have gardeners that maintain the yard bi-weekly. As for the beds, these are recent Ikea beds and the mattresses are fairly firm. They are as shown in the pictures. Almost all our guests like these beds. As for the internet, I understand that it was disappointing for this not to be working. If you had contacted us at the beginning of your stay we could have resolved this for you. Trying to fix this on the last day of your stay was not realistic. After hearing this was not working, we immediately arranged for Spectrum to service this the next day, and we now understand that the Spectrum modem was defective. It was replaced and is now working. Unfortunately we do not supply internet and have to rely on Spectrum to manage this.

Home away from Home
Publié le 16 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayIf you’re looking for a nice place to stay close to beaches and shopping, this is the perfect place! Very quiet neighborhood. We chose to stay here because we have family that live in Clearwater and we didn’t want to overcrowd their house. But we also wanted to be close enough to go and visit. This house has all the amenities that you would at home. A huge plus was having the washer and dryer! Especially after beach days! The kitchen had everything you needed if not more! We couldn’t get the TV to work but that wasn’t a big deal at all! Most days we were out and about until late so there was no time for tv! All in all, if you want a really nice place to stay in a nice quiet neighborhood not far from the beaches and shopping, pick this one!

Publié le 9 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was cute and in a quiet location. Too far from the beach though. The backyard, what there is of one needs sprayed for mosquitos badly. The Keurig coffee machine needs to be decalcified, it only gave me a 1/2 mug when I pressed the medium size cup. I also couldn't get any channels on the tv, cable would be much easier to use for those who have never had roku.

Thanks for the review. We are very clear in our listing that we are 8 minute drive from the beach (and it is an 8 minute drive). Since you knew that at the start, it is a little harsh to give us a lower rating for being too far from the beach. If you wanted to be closer to the beach, you should choose a listing that meets those needs. Bugs and critters are a fact of life in Florida. We have never noticed more than normal activity. Spraying some kind of toxic chemical all over the property to provide some kind of temporary reduction in activity is not a great solution for humans. In regards to the Keurig, we will ask the manager to check that and get that resolved. The Roku provides access to lots of free content and also all the favorite streaming services such as Netflix, Prime, Roku, Disney, Tubi etc.
