Update 12-17-24 Come on down the weather is fine! Beach is open and gorgeous. Both pools are open and unheated, both hot tubs are open and have heat. Cafe is open with Tiki Bar service. West end elevator is operational, which will take you to any floor of all buildings at Sunset Vistas.

PENTHOUSE UNIT! Gulf & Beach View, Top Floor, 2/2 on Beach, sleeps 6!
Sunset Vistas is a beautiful beachfront resort in Treasure Island that features many guest amenities to make your vacation a very special time! This 2 bedroom 2 bath Beachfront condo sleeps 6, and has a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico and beach from inside the unit. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils for cooking and preparing your food. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. The master bedroom has a King Bed with bathroom ensuite, the guest room has a Queen Bed, with the second bath off of the living area. The living room has a Queen sized pull out sofa bed for the 5th and 6th guest (surcharges apply on 5th and 6th guest). Sunset Vistas amenities include an adult pool and a kiddie pool, 2 hot tubs, an onsite Cafe, a pool/beach Bar, an onsite gym, an office workstation, and a ping pong table, but, of course, the best part is that you will be staying directly on Treasure Island Beach, named one of the nicest Beaches in the World! The main pool is geo-thermal heated. You'll be within approximately an hour's drive to nationally renowned family venues such as Busch Gardens, Lowry Park Zoo, and Tropicana Field. Johns Pass Village & Boardwalk is a mile away, and Splash Harbour Water Park is a 9 mile drive. ONLY ONE assigned parking space, parking is covered and under the building. Sorry, we cannot help with parking for any additional vehicles.

IMPORTANT: IF YOU BOOK THIS UNIT, YET ARE HAVING ANOTHER PARTY MAKE PAYMENT, YOU WILL NEED TO ADD THE EMAIL ADDRESS OF THE PAYER ONTO THE BOOKING, AND THE PAYER WILL NEED TO E-SIGN OUR RENTAL AGREEMENT. ONLY THE PERSON WHO PAYS IS AUTHORIZED TO E-SIGN THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.

THE NO REFUND POLICY INCLUDES NO REFUNDS DUE TO HEALTH CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WEATHER CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WATER CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND INCLUDING COLD WATER OR RED TIDE, OR TRANSPORTATION OR ROAD CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND INCLUDING FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS. A CHANGE IN YOUR BOOKING DATE MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE OR ALLOWED, HOWEVER, SHOULD A DATE CHANGE BE ALLOWED BY THE OWNER, BOOKING DATE CHANGES WILL BE SUBJUECT TO A $50 CHARGE FOR EACH DATE CHANGE. Should a booking date change be allowed, the difference in rates, if lower, will not be refunded, and if higher, will be charged. AGAIN, due to the no refund policy, travel insurance is highly recommended, especially if your stay will fall around Florida's Hurricane season, which falls annually around June 1 through Nov. 30. We cannot guarantee pools will be warm during cold weather months and will not give discounts or refunds should a guest experience cold pool water temperatures.

Please understand what can come with the potential aftermath of a Hurricane. There may be closures of the following, that could possibly last weeks, if not longer: restaurants/shops, roads, certain amenities offered, beaches, Wi-Fi/cable, pools, elevators, etc. Our owners will stand behind their no refund cancellation policy for any of these inconveniences and will not be making anyone the exception. Again, this is why we HIGHLY recommend purchasing good travel insurance. There should be a few policies offered towards the end of your booking process. One of which should allow you to cancel for any reason (CFAR). However, it is important for you, to do your proper research in confirming what exclusions, if any, exist for that particular policy. If none are offered to you, you can always contact another 3rd party travel insurance company. Date changes, rain checks, or compensation will also not be options under these circumstances! Hurricane season, again, falls between June 1st and November 30th.

Garage clearance is 6ft 8inches. If you have a vehicle that is taller than that 6'8'', you will need to try to find an open "guest parking" spot which are super limited. Sorry to say that we cannot help you with parking if your vehicle cannot clear 6'8''.

EARLY CHECK-IN:
Because we have a high amount of same day turn overs, we kindly ask that you PLEASE refrain from asking for an early check in. Check-in is at 4PM Eastern or any time thereafter. Should the unit be available for early check-in, it will be offered to you on the morning of your arrival for a $50 early check-in fee. Thank you for understanding!

We require the payer of the booking to sign our rental agreement, which insures the guest instructions will auto-send at 3PM on the day of arrival.

Fantastic location
I feel so bad for the devastation in the area, but Sunset Vistas is doing a great job at getting back on their feet. The family that owns the café business served delicious food and drinks and they are hopeful to get the beach bar back up and running ASAP. As far as the unit goes, it was clean and as described in the listing. The hot and cold water are backwards in the master, so that was tricky to figure out. Also, we had to figure out the thermostat because we had to turn the heat on as our week was cold. But bonus, the elevator closest to us got restored during our stay so that was really nice. The pools and hot tub were clean and people were friendly. I would come back..

Beautiful beach, excellent location, ice cream right next-door
We had a really nice time in this condo. It was beautiful and clean. There’s an ice cream place right next to it if you’re into that the beach is gorgeous and it’s literally right on the beach. We didn’t use the pool much, but it had a pool and it looked like a pretty nice little bar right next to it. Only issue we had was do not use the dryer until you confirm. It’s not gonna damage your clothing. We had some black marks on our clothing several pieces that came from the dryer somewhere, but we cannot figure out where. And it was not the owners fault or the person managing the condo. We didn’t even mention it to them because we didn’t wanna make a big deal about it because the place was so nice.

WONDERFUL location!
The location was top notch!! Just a stone’s throw from John’s Pass boardwalk, the walking/biking trail, so many restaurants, shopping, and more! The condo was great and we loved the provided beach chairs. The ping pong table was a nightly activity before bed, and we enjoyed the iced coffee in the cafe. The beach was perfect, and a much better distance from the condo doors than most of the other condos we walked by on the trail. Their beaches were much deeper and a further walk to the water. This was our first trip to Treasure Island and Sunset Vistas, and we will definitely be back!

A nice stay
The family had a nice time. Everything we needed was there and the view of the beach was great. Though the outside of the building could use some updating, the place we stayed was nice and clean. Only few things we would have changed would be working elevators (the nearest one was broken which we were informed ahead of time was in the works to be repaired after our stay) and a working tv (there were issues with getting connected to the new WiFi - it ended up getting fixed within a few days). Debra was great to work with, and very helpful and responsive.

Do not recommend - no one on site to communicate with
The unit itself was fine. It was clean and nicely furnished. It was quite small and hard to imagine that 6 people would be comfortable staying in it. The bathrooms were especially small with very little counter space. It should also be noted that some of the water faucets are installed backwards and what is usually a cold faucet runs hot water and the hot faucet runs cold water. There was no written explanation for this. One of our biggest issues was that there was no one to communicate with at the location or with the management company except by leaving a voice mail message with a return call anticipated the following day. There were no instructions in the unit for the operation o Internet, WiFi or air conditioner. We were never able to establish an internet connection during our stay and had no access to TV which required an internet connection. While this was not a huge deal to us it seems that with the price charged the basics should be readily available. We were notified by email prior to our check in that one bank of elevators was not working and the expected repair was 2 weeks. There were other elevators in property available but it was inconvenient and a lack of enough luggage carts made it difficult to get to the unit in the 6th floor. We certainly understand that these things can happen but felt the inability to speak with anyone on property or with the property management company makes this property less than desirable especially for the price per night.

Property is dated,needs a face lift. Picked this place for our 93 Father who has a little trouble getting around. The elevator by our room was not working and the closes elevator was a good distance away for our father and also the most busiest. Also room was dated and floors were dirty.

Clean, Comfortable Condo on the Beach
The most important thing to me when I stay somewhere is that it is clean, and I was happy with how clean everything was. It has newer appliances and an earlier review referenced not having ice but they do have an ice maker and water dispenser. It’s located right on the beach which you really can’t beat and the view from the balcony is beautiful. I heard very little noise from other condos around us or from outside - I sometimes forgot we were in a condo complex. They also provided basic supplies - hand soap, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, etc. - and a good amount of beach items (chairs, towels, some toys). So why only 4 stars? There are a few things that, for me, kept it from being perfection. The bath towels were pretty terrible. They were really small and thin. Definitely super cheap. The one elevator on our side of the complex was broken all week. Not a deal breaker but annoying as the wait for the elevator during busy times could get long. The pool was very crowded and we figured out why about halfway through - people from other complexes came to use the pool. It is supposed to be limited to only condo residents but it was clear it was being used by people not in the complex. We would have to do down early in the morning to reserve chairs so we’d at least have a place to sit. All in all we had a wonderful stay and I would recommend someone to stay here and I’d consider staying here again!

Great place all around.
The most notable part of the stay was the cleanliness of the unit. It was at a hotel level of cleanliness which is not always the case in my experience. The place was large enough to accommodate me, my wife, and our two young children. The proximity to the beach was great and the unit’s access very near the elevator (but not too close to be bothered by it) was a nice bonus. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others. The amount of beach equipment was also appreciated.

Condo was nice with view of the Gulf. Right off the elevator so convenient to the parking. Pool and hot tubs were nice and close to John's Pass for food and shopping and water sports it boat rides. The only negative is I the times were not tall enough for handicapped folks. I recommend new ADA toilets.
