I recently stayed at this hotel and while the location is excellent, with plenty of great restaurants nearby, the hotel itself needs major improvements. The building feels old and outdated, and unfortunately, the elevators were not working properly during my stay, which was quite inconvenient. To make matters worse, my room had a strong moldy smell, making it uncomfortable to stay in. This hotel has potential due to its prime location, but it desperately needs remodeling and better maintenance.

Felt like a northern shore town. Great location, on beach. Property well maintained. Friendly staff.

Das Bilmar Hotel hat uns super gut gefallen. Wir waren im 6. Stock mit Blick auf das Meer. Die Preise waren für diese Region sehr gut, da wir in der Nebensaison angereist sind. Das hat sich gelohnt. Man hätte vom Hotel aus auch gratis Stühle für an den Strand nehmen können und ab 16:00 Uhr hätte es täglich Cookies gegeben. Wir waren immer unterwegs und haben die Cookies nicht probiert aber ich finde es eine nette Aufmerksamkeit vom Hotel. Es gab immer frische Tücher im Bad, obwohl wir nicht jeden Tag frische Handtücher gebraucht hätten. Nicht weit weg vom Hotel (ca. 25 min am Strand entlang) gab es eine super Strandbar namens Caddy's mit guten Drinks und Essen. Es lohnt sich vor Sonnenuntergang dort einen Stopp zu machen. Zum Hotel gehört das Sloppy Joes Restaurant und Bar. Die Drinks waren gut aber das Essen vor allem das Frühstück war zu teuer für die Portionen. Für eine kleine Schüssel Müsli 11 Dollar. Da waren wir im Waffle House besser bedient. Es gab einen 5 Dollar-Gutschein vom Hotel den wir beim 1. Abendessen eingelöst haben. Sonst hat alles mit dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut gepasst.

I stayed here with family. We just stayed one night, just in town for a wedding. I wish I would had had more time there. I love the location right on the beach facing the water. I loved the place just with the little I got to see. One night is definitely not enough

Fantastic location

Front desk was amazing and super personable! Hotel location was the best.. restaurants and stores across the street and 5 mins walk away. Restaurants and bar at the hotel were great as well, host and servers were extremely courteous and food/drinks were great! We loved our hotel room.. the view was exceptional!! We had everything we needed in our room. Definitely recommend to anyone and families. Also, out back there’s a side walk for walks that’s a mile long.

There was a lot of water in the room not sure if it was the ac or windows but my stuff was ruined! Very disappointing!
