Dirty, no internet or television, horrible customer service
I have never written a poor review of a property. This property is managed by Vacasa, so you will not be able to speak with a host if problems arise…and they did. Vacasa is awful.
Cottage is in a great location & the exterior area is adorable.
Cottage is small, you can’t open the bathroom door all the way, bc it hits the bed. The bed was so uncomfortable, I couldn’t sleep on it. I got up in the middle of the night and tried to use the pullout couch instead. Wrong move! That was even worse, so I put the couch back together and ended up spending both nights on the couch.
There was no tv or internet the entire trip bc their modem was broken. The 2nd day it rained the whole day and all we wanted to do was cuddle up in bed & catch up on Netflix and work, but nope! No internet or tv. Not ideal.
I wish I could post photos, the cottage was DIRTY! Long black hairs and lint all over the pillows, the cups, bowls, and silverware were disgusting, black mold in the shower.
I paid nearly $50 for a late check out, but after seeing the cottage I requested a refund bc I knew I did not want to stay the extra time. I requested a partial refund due to all of the issues, and $87 was what was refunded. $50 of that being my unused late check out. So really $40 out of $700 was all that was refunded for me having to spend my vacation cleaning the dirty property and not having the advertised amenities available. Cottage could be a better if they had a better prop management company.
