Friendly Staff

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Decent bedroom. Would have been fine expect the nightly party that goes on in the parking lot by our room. Think there’s a group of workers that party at night.

Booked a suite for two days, three weeks in advanced. Arrived night day of, and room was not avaliable. They had already charged my credit card they were not going to credit my card for the difference until i said something. The room that was given had a toilet that ran every three minutes. Went to front desk to complain the next morning, they said someone be there to fix. Got back to hotel that evening and it still was fixed. The bathroom door would also hit the bed when trying to close. Over all this reservation acted like a bait and switch.

This was mediocre at best. Kind of like a "no tell motel". It was clean. Just rundown. I would not stay there again.

So so stay

Best part of the stay was the time spent in the pool area. Beds were comfy, but in general the property was run down. For 200$ per night CAD, I expected more and would have appreciated daily housekeeping,

I’ll lower my expectations next time

The location was fantastic for what we were doing. However, the hotel, as a whole, is in need of updating. Dresser drawers that stuck or would all open at once, leaking shower, broken door chain, hot tub not functioning, and the breakfast was not something we came back to after the first morning. Not horrible, but food items were out or on the last one. Skim milk is not a good option most guests. It was still a good place for us to stay and enjoy the surrounding areas.

An Interesting Stay

I checked in on a Wednesday, and was so happy to get my room a little early. Upon entering the room, I noticed the room smelled funny, but did not think anything of it. As I went to bed, individuals in other rooms around me started to scream, and run outside. I also felt things crawling on me, which seemed a bit weird. In the middle of the night, I turned the light on and thought I saw bugs on the floor, but was not sure. The next day, I found cockroaches in the bathroom, on my pillow, and on the desk. Once I notified the front desk, they immediately gave me another room on the other side of the property, which was great. The room smelled clean, the unit had an updated bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The rest of my stay was pleasant. The staff was very helpful in moving me quickly, and the breakfast was nice to have every morning. When I went to check out, very early Saturday morning, the clerk at the front desk was asleep, and I think I scared him by mistake when I came into the lobby. The hotel was very close to my business meetings so the location was very convenient for me.

very dated. Front desk staff were very friendly. Mislead about the breakfast. Specificially asked if the breakfast was continental. Was told no, sausage would be there.It was not. Several breakfast machines not working. the breakfast attendant was not very welcoming. Okay for an overnight stay but would not recommend staying longer

It may well not be the hotel’s fault considering the hurricanes that have hit the area but the hotel is taking on a beach property sort of appearance, room doors that have poor fit showing daylight around the edges. Housekeeping, however, is slipshod and grudging done, such as a bath towel having been removed from the bathroom floor and placed back on the towel rack for further use.
